We bought this for use in the car, as well as at home. It works very well and is easy for my 9-year old to operate!

Works really well. Good when you have two sons/daughters and each wants to watch the movie. It makes it easier for both to be able to watch the movie and less fighting between the two because one of them can't watch the movie that good.

This is our first time purchasing this type of product. Good picture and sound. Pleased with product so far.

The picture was great, wires were a distraction but over great product. It kept my kids entertained for hours

Bought this for my granddaughter best purchase I made. This is the second one I bought the first lasted for approximately 4 years before I needed a new one. Try another brand but started having problem after 90 days had an extended warranty took back to store and replace for the Phillip again.

Easy to set up and use. We have used this in the car, and I also use it at work for education videos.

Love the dual purpose of it being used in the car as well as on a table top for restaurants, etc...

It gets the job done..bought it for my kids to enjoy and they do so I guess it's ok. Fresh out of the box the volume on one of the monitors doesn't work.you can only heart from one monitor at a time depending on what end you plug on the cord and its pretty low. They are really cheap but like I said serves its purpose, keeps my toddler quiet.

Reasonably priced. Picture quality is very good, sound is acceptable, but volume could be louder. Easy set up on car headrests. Long connecting wires need some way to shorten/stow their length that is not being used.

The Philips 9" Dual-screen portable DVD player is easy to install to the back of seats in any vehicle. It offers up to 480p resolution for viewing, which is good for DVDs. It has a dual screen and accessible functions to control the unit, especially a convenient play and stop button on the front of the main screen. The player easily opens to place one DVD to play at a time. There is one power plug and AV cable for video (yellow). The sound quality on the player is good, but I recommend buying an AUX cable to play sound over your car stereo for optimal sound.

Great for traveling with kids they are entertained

Was exactly what we need for a 4 hour drive up the mountain with 2 young children

I gave this to my 3 year old Grandson for his birthday so he and his 14 month old sister could watch videos in car. My son has used it for them several times and says it works great and has a good quality picture and is very satisfied with it.

Bought the dual DVD player for our vacation and it was perfect. Easy enough for kids to control. Only complaint is all the wires. It needs to be plugged in to work, there is a cord connecting both screens, as well as the headphone cords.

I was looking for DVDs player to use on while on family vacations... ESP for my grandson. I like this product it plays nice pictures. I Just wished there was a way to keeps the battery charged and not have tho keep it always pluged up in the car.

We have a DVD player in head unit that can't be watched while driving so on a long trip is useless. Being able to have entertainment for my family in the back makes a 300 or so mile trip breeze by in a few movies. I bought flex wire covers to go over all the wiring that I didn't secure in the seat pockets and it actually looks pretty good. Haven't had unit long enough to really evaluate but did test on some off road areas and had no problems. The closing mechanism does appear to be questionable but only time will tell. I compared this unit to every unit on the market, not saying it's the best, but from the US to the UK it is.

Honestly the only negative is that they require to be plugged in to work. Even then, it's as simple as plugging in the provided 12volt cig socket or wall plug adapter. The movie resumes where it ended. Startup is fast and minimizes a chance the kids will get rowdy waiting for a movie to load. We use a small insulated lunch bag to transport all the parts and a case of DVDs. We buy Bluray and Dvd combo packs and the DVDs stay in the vehicle to go! Great product from a great company. Don't hesitate to pick up a set.
