I like everything about the DVD players... Except for the sound. It doesn't get loud enough to hear some of the DVD's in the back with background noise... But if u run it through the car speakers it is fabulous! Picture quality is excellent.

I wanted to have two screens and the independent or combined feature was a plus. I did feel that it was pricey, but since we were leaving the next day for an extended cr trip I went ahead and purchased. So far so good, I do wish for the price they had come with a bag or case to hold in.

Very easy to use in home and in car. Convenient size. Great quality pictures. Glad I bought these DVD players.

Easy for the kids to use, either watching separate movies or the same together, awesome for long road trips

This is a great system. Having the ability to play 2 seperate movies is really good for the kids, bought two head sets and we were on the road. Only down fall I had was you can't angle the screen up or down so u may have to adjust the seats to avoid a glare in the back seats

We have been very pleased with this purchase. However, the fact that one of the screens did not withstand some expected wear and tear caused us to have to replace it. The replacement was not easy to find and although we did get another Phillips portable DVD player we eventually decided to take it back and get a new set due to the price difference not being worth buying one versus two. Plus by buying the set again we now have an extra on hand should any of the ones we are using go bad. Even with our experience of the lack of durability, I would still recommend this if you're looking for an affordable option and one that gives you the option of playing the same movie on both screens or to play separate movies on separate screens.

With our first child, we had the single portable DVD player. It lasted for roughly 3 years and would then not charge anymore. Now that we have two children, we decided to stick with the same brand and get the dual offering. Works great in the car, does not skip, easy to take in and out of the car but... you can only use the player when it is plugged in. The model that is singular can be charged. That is the only drawback. Other than that we love our portable, personal DVD players!

Work well. Easy to mount so we can remove them when we don't want them watching tv. Only problem was that my daughter was too young to do things on her own and it's very difficult to reach the buttons from the front seat. My 5 year old had no problems with it.

I bought this product for... of course, my kids to watch when we're on the road for a long time. There is nothing like kids' favorite movies that keeps kids entertained on the road. Although I believe that the screen/picture quality could be better, it was okay when it was working. Here is my experience with this product. -The units are very light, and their build quality just feel cheap. -Picture quality was not all that great. I felt like I was back in 90's, staring at the arcade video game screen that had progressive lines all over the screen. -These units do not have rechargeable batteries which is probably one reason that the units are so light. They need to be connected to the power source (either wall or car's 12v DC; it does come with both 120v adapter and 12v DC cable to power both units) at all times. -More than anything, it is not very sturdy. This product is designed so that the cover to the disc tray and the screen are bound with hinges on the bottom of the unit. In other words, it has a latch on the top of the unit that holds the cover/screen in place when it's shut. When the discs need to be inserted/replaced, the latch on top needs to be released, and the whole screen swings open downward. The problem is with the latch. The latches gave up on both units. No, we did not use them every day, nor did we released the latches every time we used them. A lot of times, kids were happy playing the same movies. But the latches gave up after two months, and will no longer hold the covers in place. When the covers are not securely closed, of course, the discs stop spinning and the movies will not play. Hm...... I'm just glad that I decided to get the protection plan when I purchased this product because I usually opt to not pay for protection plan.

Very clear picture. It was easy to hook up. It made the long trip in car great for the kids.

These work well in the vehicle but the buttons being on top and the sides can be hard to use. It is nice to be able to connect the two players to watch the same disc or watch separate movies. Including all needing cables is a nice bonus to many systems.

My old player broke at the start of a long road trip with my kids. I ran in the closest Best Buy and purchased this player without researching it. I just assumed some features on my old player were standard. I was wrong. There isn't a battery so if it's not plugged in, it doesn't work. The cord that connects the two monitors isn't very long and it's manufacturer specific. In other words, I couldn't just purchase a longer cord. The one feature I liked was the ability to play a disk from either monitor which cut in half the number of times I had to worry about changjng discs.

love that it plays dual movies. Super easy to get set up and super easy for kids to work

i liked the dual because my kids sometimes likes to watch different things. the only thing i didnt like was all the cords. one cord to combine them to watch the same movie plus each had a cord that connected to the adaptor to charge.

I bought these for a 12 hour road trip to keep my little one entertained when he would become fussy. I like the quality and convenience of it. I also like how you can choose to have the same movie play on both screens if you wanted to. I bought the protection plan and I'm glad I did because 1 speaker did not work, it's better to pay the for the plan, than it is to buy a new one at full price.

Good pic and sound. Needs remote and storage bag. Easy for kids to kick and stop movie. Overall good deal.

We were taking our granddaughters ages 15,11,6 to Disneyland for the X-mas holidays and needed something to entertain them for the long ride till we got there so we bought the two dvd screens. Worked out just right the two youngest took 5 dvd each and watched all the way with no complaints. My other granddaughter had her ipad and phone to keep her busy. We were Very Happy with Our Purchase

It's nice to have the ability to use this product in any vehicle. The kids can watch the same video or two different movies. The equipment is easy to attach and remove when not in use. You're able to use headsets for each screen, so that the radio can be utilized without having to tune out the video.

Got this for a cross country trip. After reading many reviews, I made sure it worked using each device individually and connected to share a dvd. It worked just fine in the house (with the 110 plug). Had to use a rental car for our trip...set everything up before we got on the road (using the cigarette adapter) only to discover that the dvd players worked fine with separate discs, but didn't work when sharing a disc. :( Was ready to return them, but I decided to wait until our new car arrived. Glad we waited, as they work fine in that car, using the cigarette adapter. Not sure what the issue was, but now they work well, and the kids can share a dvd or watch independently. Would I purchase again? Yes, but I'd make sure they work properly in the car before tossing the receipt!
