The screen size is sufficient and adequately meets my needs. Like I said, the screen does not flip around like some, but not a big deal for me. I had a Phillips 7" (kind of small), but the power button began malfunctioning and wouldn't stay off and would turn on after I walked away. Would come back to car and battery would have drained. That is why I started looking for a new one. I liked everything else about the old one, so I went with Phillips again. The player is quiet, unlike others I've purchased. I like the separate volume adjuster, rather than the ones where the volume is shared with another function.

We were needing something economical, lightweight, and easy to use for our home business. This was EXACTLY what we were searching for AND the idea that our children can use it when we are on the road was just an added bonus!

I purchased the DVD player before traveling across the country to drive my wife and daughter home..... Kept long charge, worked flawlessly, and comes well equipped!! Use at home and pass around, and great for the car or boat.

Got this DVD player for my daughter. We love the screen and the ease of use...it is very light weight, in fact, kinda feels a bit like a toy but so far no issues. You can watch a DVD on battery power or AC but the battery will not charge while playing a DVD. So far we're happy with the purchase but it is early days...

The 5 hour battery life is pretty good but limits you to a couple of movies on a long car ride if you forget the car charger. Really good picture!

This dvd player kept my son entertained for the entire 5 hours long trip to the coast on 1 charge. It's nice and sturdy, has a great image and sound quality.

We recently purchased this portable DVD player when we needed one with a battery. We have been very pleased with this model. The battery life is very good and the player is easy to use and works well.

I purchased this before a long plane ride and it worked great. At first it wasn't reading the disks but it could have been scratches on the dvds. Light to carry and small enough to put in a backpack.

The machine makes a slight vibrating noise when a disc is being played. I would have liked for the volume to get louder. I press the option for subtitles to appear but when the player is turned OFF then ON again it doesn't resume with the subtitles.Also disappointed that the opening to the mechanism that makes the player run is too exposed when you open it to insert a disc. This of course means that it can get dirtier faster and that can cause it to no longer run. The picture I'm happy to say looks great, very sharp.

This DVD player is lightweight and has a long battery life. We took it on an airplane trip with our 2 year old and he was enchanted the entire flight!

Purchased two units for two kids before long car trip. Worked great. They could watch their own movies. The units rechargeable batteries allowed devices to be used without having to be plugged in. Also worked while plugged in. We have not used the remote controls. The only improvement I would recommend would be greater screen resolution. But clear enough to entertain on the go. Would buy again due to the rechargeable battery.

The Dvd player is lightweight and screen size is big enough to watch movies on. The sound quality is great and the player is easy to use. I am really happy with the product.

The quality of the picture is good. I bought It for my 8 year old and she really likes it. It's a small screen but it does it's job and the sound is not bad. Very easy to use.

The Philips portable DVD player is a very nice little player. Very good quality in the picture. Also, very easy to use for all family members.

I got this DVD for my 3 years old son for a long trip, he was fascinated, he enjoy all the trip watching he's favorite shows, sound is great and the quality is awesome, very easy to set up

I use this when my grandchildren visit and need some quiet entertainment away from our TV. Easy controls and adequate screen for portable use.

Perfect size & weight to hold in my lap while watching a movie. It has a longer battery life than others I'd seen. One of the BB employees told me had the same one and recommended it.

this dvd player is perfect and does everything you need. the picture is clear and the volume is great. it works good on the charger and the battery lasts long when its off the charger
