Sweet colors and a nice long power cord, what more could you want? Oh, it's programmable and you can turn it on or off when you're not home? Sure, I'll take that too! My only complaint is that it's not cheaper. I want Hue in every room in the house! And yes, sticking it to the back of my TV and syncing one or all of my Hue lights to Syfy while watching 12 monkeys is pretty sweet. Not perfect, but fun none the less (there's a slight lag, so when they flash different colors, it's a bit late. Most of the time it doesn't matter, so I still like it.)

While this is not to be used as primary lighting (there is a new model out capable of a MUCH brighter output and more colors), I find this one is great to add color to a house. I put one above my cabinets and one below my bar. Combined with the right apps and the hue touch, it can make any room more lively, and much nicer. I even have them set to automatically go to a nice low brightness red at night so I can navigate around without clicking on the main lights.

These lights are fantastic. And they only get better as you aquire more. And with the third party apps, wow. Sync to music, have a lava lamp, great fun for kids of all ages. Even set a perfect lighting scheme for watching TV. Set up timers. Set up notifications. This truely has endless possibilities! Down side, stupid expencive

I set this up behind my TV, and the results are really great. It looks awesome, and while it's a little expensive for a Lightstrip if you buy into the Phillips hue lighting ecosystem it's a fantastic addition.

And not just any bias lighting, this is great. You can get 6500K easily measured lux. Get a good app that understand home theater or graphic design bias lighting. I didn't know how much this would reduce eyestrain and look cool at the same time...cool being relative.

Expensive and very limited uses for these but if the need is there is a need they work brilliantly. I used them at Halloween for accent lighting around door frames and the looked incredible. The colors are nice and they do exactly what I purchased temp for.

These are perfect compliments to the Hue lighting system we have. Only gripe, which they have addressed in the new bulbs is the ability to add strips if you need them. Work fantastic! Easy to set up and use!! Great addition for behind the TV!!!

I bought two strips and actually needed just a little bit more to go across my bridge. I just feel that it's not worth buying another whole strip just to cut off about 24 inches to fill the space. It would be nice if it came in different sizes.

Especially for the price. They deliver on their promise of 16 MM colors, easily programmable and great apps. Unfortunately, they only come in 6 ft strips. You can cut the strips to shorter measurements, but then you are spending a fortune. They could really benefit with longer strips. I'd recommend waiting until Philips can come up with longer strips that cost much less because these are far too expensive for what they offer.

This has been one of my favorite additions to my house. I have these lights behind several of my couches in my living room, and they look great. I've received numerous compliments on them, and will most likely be getting more.

I am not going to lie here, the price tag is on the high end. And although a programmable setting feature is not right out of the box, it works well enough to fancy up any room. It works really good if you get it to work with the rest of the HUE family and ITTT.

For some they might think it is a pricey investment for colorful accent lighting. The way I have configured the lights I have has actually added pretty cool scenes to the atmosphere. I have them turning on certain times and with certain color patterns. Since I can adjust the brightness too I ended up using these more than my regular lights. The cool think is that it can work with other smart home setups so you can get creative when lights flash (i.e. receive text message this light blinks to let me know) This light strip is on a portion of my kitchen cabinets and I like the accent lighting it provides. Not very long so I will definitely be buying more to finish off the accent look I am going for.

These lights are awesome! They are great for under your kitchen cabinets or inside of a display case. Or anywhere you need accent lighting. And you can change the color with an app on your smart phone!!

Colored LED light strip can be added to Hue starter kit. Very thin and can be moved to different areas in the home very easily. About 6' long and very decorative. A bit pricey at $70.

Ran these lights up and down our bookcases. They were easy to install and love the way you can change the lighting to different colors.

I'm a huge Philips Hue fan, but the lightstrip addition could be better. It was too short for my needs and could not be cut and connected to another strip.

I installed this light strip along a staircase handrail and it totally lights the stairs. Very pleased will buy again.
