A great compliment to the Philips Hue set. Perfect solution for adding ambience to any room.

I have several bulbs and they're great but this light is nice for aiming at the wall or ceiling.

Not as bright or compact as their newer offerings but still a nice addition to the room.

I purchased the Iris to go along with my other HUE products. I recommend theses lights to anyone who wants to be able to change the look or mood to their home. We used to use candles to create a warm atmosphere but now rely on our HUE system. Set up was easy and it's so convenient to be able adjust the lights with my iPhone or iPad.

Works great. Multiple apps out to get full use of it.

I have 3 of these lights, one I have behind the couch in the tv room shining onto the wall, one is in a corner behind a plant and the third in the other corner. Use all 3 in different scenes to shine on the walls and they add a lot to the mood of the room.

I've converted most of my bulbs to the Hue bulbs but I've ran out of lamps. The Iris is a great alternative to buying a lamp and a bulb. It has a wide angle of projection of the light it emits. My only down side is that you can't use the light recipes like energize or focus.

The Philips - Friends of hue Iris Extension Dimmable Plug-Based Light is such a great buy. I didn't realize how adding some color to a room can have positive effect on moods. I have my Iris facing a wall full of pics of the family and by using my smartphone I am able to control the light and colors accordingly with ease. The setting up was quite easy and am sure even those who are novice to networking can set it up with no issues. I did my research before purchasing this item and I have to admit I am now addicted in having all my lighting in my home wifi enabled thru HUE.

I bought this for a present for my daughter. She has it in her room and creates all kinds of different colors and hues that light up the walls and ceiling. Great quality. Make sure you have the starter hub that you have to have to connect to wifi and be able to turn it on and changes the colors.

If you're looking for unique lighting that you can customize via a highly connected interface, this is it. They're very well made, but on the pricey side. If you've got a huge income and you're into lighting, there's nothing quite like these.

The iris stands out so much more than the other regular bulbs. Projects a really nice glow on the wall. Highly recommend if you are looking into buying ANY of the Philips Hue products. It's a must.

This is a very big light and it puts out a lot of light. It shows it on the desk casting a soft light but it is very bulky and I wouldn't want to put it on my desk. The light you can turn down, but the size is something that should be considered. Overall, it is a very good addition to the Hue Lights. I am glad that I bought it.

I just stumbled on these Hue lights and gave them to my GF for Xmas and she has so much fun with them

The color range/control is really good. Looks very nice and is brighter than expected too. Some of the things you can do with the app, like geofencing, are really cool. Because there is a block on the plug, it would be nice if it would plug into the back of the lamp rather than being hardwired. You may have trouble feeding the plug through small spaces.

It's alright I guess. It would be better if it was half the price then I would be happy with it
