These are the best smart light I own. Philips bulbs connect easily with each other using the Hue App & Hub. The bulbs have a vast amount of colors that other bulbs lack. Also, they are much brighter than the cheap ones I have purchased on Amazon. Not only that, most cheap bulb app software cannot compare to the Philips Hue App. This app had multiple features and home configurations. They are pricey but worth it.

Colorful, and work well if you have a bridge and are invested in hue ecosystem. Really great with video games. I am awaiting receipt of these three lights from order in particular, however I have purchased these before and am using as part of living room setup and they are a joy (hence order for three more). Cheers to Best Buy for sending reorder though original product had issues with shipment.

I love the Hue light system. Others have since come up with similar lights, but when you consider the whole package, there is no comparison for me. First (and really critically), the Hue app is a sophisticated, well-tested, mature app that works extremely well. Bulbs connect seamlessly, rooms are easy to set up, automations, colors, scenes, are all excellent. You don’t appreciate this ease and sophistication until your stuck in technology hell with some other maker’s app. Second, the lights are of high quality. And third, the whole system of outdoor, indoor, motion, and especially, wall switches, makes this easily the best for me. I have it in two homes, indoors and outdoors, different bulbs, and multiple wall switches (wall switches are great!). It’s integrated with Siri also. Turning lights on when you’re away, dimming lights without a traditional dimmer, acess to all the colors are amazing… you don’t realize what you’re missing until you get these.

We already had about a dozen of the regular white bulbs and thought "let's go crazy and get some colored ones!" We enjoy the color/mood options down in our TV room. Easy to setup and the hue app is great. Just a little pricey for what they are but otherwise very happy with all our Hue stuff.

I’ve had Hue lights since 2012 and they’re amazing. Never had one stop working. 10 years for ANY bulb would be satisfactory. You’re basically front-loading your lighting expenditures by getting these. Expensive up front, but you won’t have to replace for a LONG time. Not to mention the easy connection via phone app, geo-fencing functionality, scheduled timers for wakeup and sleep timers. C’mon!! I will be forever adding more to my collection.

With a dozen pre-designed colors patterns and a million customizable choices, these make great lights for any room than needs highlights or emphasis. The app is easy to use, allowing you to create zones or groups. Creating schedules is easy as well. Works flawlessly with Alexa. Lights have yet to wear out after countless hours of use.

I got and installed the lights and they work amazingly. Had basically no issues except for I couldn’t use a regular light switch to control them so I ended up getting a Lutron pico remote and home assistant to make it more convenient. Love how easily it integrates with my smart home. Philips hue products are some of the best when it comes to quality and the ease of use.

We’ve bought several of these bulbs for our home. The brand is pricey but none of the cheaper options have been as good. The app works well and is easy to use - although we use a bridge and wifi not Bluetooth. The bulbs seem to last quite a while. Avoid refurbished items but otherwise this is a solid choice.

After trying several other brands of wi-fi only smart bulbs, the step up to the Philips Hue brand is worth the investment. With these bluetooth bulbs, you don't even need extra hassle of dealing with the dedicated hub, but if you do connect these to the hub, you'll gain all the benefits it provides. They're easy to set up which is not the case with the 2.4 Ghz only wi-fi bulbs, they don't randomly lose their saved configurations, and they work with all of the third party services and apps, and, of course, smart assistants out there that I've tried. My only wish is that the Hue Labs scenes were easier to use and that they could be set up to automatically enabled every time the light to which they're associated is turned on, instead of having to enable the scene each time. Maybe I'm just missing a step, because I find the Labs site difficult to use.

I’m a big fan of these lights. First I bought three. Then three more, then three more again! Then the now discontinued bowl. Then the tall towers that go behind your television. At this point, every light in the house is controlled this way. It is fantastic to wake up at 5 AM in the dark and tune the lights down to a low warm glow. We have one in the fireplace that we sent it to orange… Different colors behind the TV based on the type of show we are watching. They may be more expensive than competing brands, but they are certainly worth it in my book. The app keeps getting better and recently had a very good UI update. Don’t hesitate, treat yourself to one or three and see what works for you.

Great variety of colors and brightness. Very easy to set up and use through the app. Would highly recommend getting the ones that connect to the Hub, I had to get these due to the Wi-fi ones not being able to connect to my school’s internet.

I’ve had Philips hue bulbs for over a decade now and have yet to have one burn out. I love how you can change the ambience of your rooms with a simple change of color. I’ve got these outfitted in every room of my house, and don’t regret them at all. I’ve never had connectivity issues and have no complaints with these bulbs. Highly recommend

It’s so easy to add the bulbs to the system. I’ve been updating my sister-in-law’s house lights. She is amazed by the colors. I think it’s a win.

Very Pricey, but worth the money. I’ll admit, even for featuring “richer colors” and being the updated model, the colors can still seem not as bright as you would hope. However, since they are only 60 watt bulbs, I found the solution to my problem was that I just needed to use more bulbs. Seems easy enough, right? I put five of these bulbs in a Medusa Lamp and it really did a great job illuminating the room and giving me the sense of color I was looking for. I also like that I can control all of them with an app, or with Alexa. The preset color modes are nice, and I also enjoy creating my own. Very easy to set up. Just follow the instructions.

Great quality, love the colors. Just make sure you already have the hub before you buy this version, I like how they don't include it so people that don't need it, don't have to pay the extra. Overall I'm happy! My only complaint is the price, these bulbs are expensive so hopefully they last a long time (I had an older gen bulb that died on my after 2 years)

The lights do what they’re expected to, of course, but really put these over the other options is the app. Even without the hi , there’s a ton of very “smart” features and options that come in very handy. If you get the hub, then the programability and automation options become truly brilliant God they are expensive though. If you aren’t going to actually use the colors often then I do recommend the “White Ambiance” ones. Most of the time in most of my rooms, I’m looking for white light anyway.

I’ve owned hue color ambient lights for a while now. This works with google home, HomeKit (Apple) and Alexa. These integrations are some of the best in smart home. Cant really compare to other smart bulb brands since I have gone all in on hue for lights. I like that these lights support warm colors at night and work compatible colors during the day. I don’t need any dimmer switches or to rewrite the house. I don’t often use the full color spectrum, but the warmer color pallets is better than the straight white lights for night time comfort.

Wish it was more like 3 for 80, which seems more reasonable then 3 bulbs for 120.. but however they are super convenient to use with Siri. Not worth buying if you don’t have Siri or Alexa. Also would only buy if you are getting multiple and using them in same room. Otherwise 1 per room would just look tacky and pointless; not bright enough . Light is brightest combined with other bulbs (I have the bars and strips too). The app + being Siri enabled are my favorite parts. Super easy to use once you get the hub set up with your router.
