Looking to move a hanging lamp to illuminate stairway below better. Decided to incorporate a dimmer ability with a different fixture for better lighting only when needed. Stumbled on adding this bulb to alexa app already in use thru out house. Now have colored ‘mood’ lighting besides dimming an all white light. Love it!

Phillips Hue lights are so cool. I love using them when I edit video and while I’m cooking. I know there are other smart lights out there but one you experience Phillips Hue, chances are you will stay with the brand. The starter kit is affordable, especially around holidays, and the app allows you to download themes for free. Not to mention, it seamlessly pairs with my Google Home and Google Wi-Fi. Led lights, so there is no glass. Light last for hours. I have not had to replace a light yet!

I love the lights! Its very easy to use through the philips hue app. The only problem is the home festure in apple its VERY glitchy. But overall all the light always turn on when u tell them to(theres no issues there).

love these bulbs to death. they are a little pricey at 50 bucks but I've have most of mine approaching 7 years and they all work great and easily with my other google devices. wouldn't dream of switching to another bulb.

These are the best lightbulbs I have them all over the house and hope to get more for all the lamps to be fully automated.

I now have around 15 Philips hue lights of different kinds, most have worked flawlessly for the last 7 years. I bought this A19 bulb for a theater room lampshade, and schedule it through Alexa to turn on just before sunset, and stay on until our bedtime. Being able to exactly match the bulb color to the ambience of the theater room is a great feature.

I mean, these things are just cool as can be. Bought these for my son and the previous versions required a hub to control. Now with Bluetooth control built into the bulb, it makes integration with google home, HomeKit or any other zigbee enabled setup an ease. Have night close to 30 of these and all of them still work and can speak to the longevity of the bulbs. They’re pricey, but worth it as I don’t plan to buy light bulbs for a while.

I own the Hue starter kit then over the years u purchase other bulbs however this is my first color one. I really do enjoy the optional colors but u use this in the living room so only need off white. Get it on sale now with Black Friday and it’s worth the purchase.

Upgraded to this bulb after growing dissatisfied with the first generation hue bulbs. This one is much brighter and can actually produce a true green color!!! The white is also so much brighter than my old bulbs. These new bulbs are rated 75W equivalent and my old bulbs were 40W. There are cheaper bulbs out there, but Philips knocks it out of the park when it comes to HomeKit compatibility and customization options.

It was easy to install to my house and to my alexa too!

I used to think it was too expensive but I love this light. I added it to my ikea dejsa lamp. I normally have the lamp far from my bed so turning it off with the app is super convenient. Changing the colors can also make your room super vibey at night. I want to get lights for my entire house now!

Fun to use, and the phone app is pretty simple to understand. There are two different apps, make sure to use the bluetooth version. As the other app requires a control box, the Hue box. So you only need the bluetooth app instead (not the Hue app). Perfect for Toy and Statue collectors, as if you have a bunch of scary figures, you can select a dark red color, and your figures will glow within the scary dark red lighting. Spooky and Creepy.

Love my Hue bulbs. I’ve had them for over 5 years and still haven’t had to replace one. Perfect to set up for an automated home. Lights come on once I arrive home, and turn off automatically when I leave. Set different moods using the Hue app.

These new updated bulbs are really brighter than the original 60w Hue bulbs. I used this to replace a 150w bulb. While it's not as bright as that bulb was, it definitely provides enough light to illuminate the room. Hue bulbs are pricey, and I can only hope that this bulb lasts long enough that I won't regret the purchase.
