These bulbs work great as smart bulbs. They work almost flawlessly with my Google Home. With these bulbs, you need a Philips Hue bridge in order to use them. You can use your phone or smart home assistant to dim or brighten the lights. These specific bulbs do not change colors. That being said, the downside to these bulbs is that they are more of a yellow hue even though the description says white. If you are looking for more of a white hue, purchase the Philips Hue A19 Ambience bulbs as you can change the color tone from yellow to white.

I really like this lightbulb. It's relatively inexpensive especially for an LED lightbulb. It doesn't change color but it still has dimming capabilities which I still like. Great for the kitchen or other areas where ambiance isn't necessary but dimming may be nice if just trying to find your way around the house at night without being blasted by full intensity light.

I bought a couple of these white dimming bulbs for rooms that didn't need to have multi color. Places like the bathrooms, office and wash room. I like the fact that I can control the brightness of those rooms and be able to toggle them on and off after leaving the room if I have my hands full or I might have left the room for something and forgot they were on. With a swipe on my phone or using Alexa I can easily turn them off without having to worry about it. For the price of these bulbs, I think it's worth having a couple around the house I normally would not have had them.

Just what i was wanting, was easy to set up to alexa. Pricey for bulbs but they last longer than standard bulbs so I'll save in long run.

this bulb not only responds to Siri and normal commands, it also is able to dim on multiple levels. Buy it!

Easy to set up and works like a charm. App is easy to navigate and the daily timers are great, just set it up and the light does the rest

This bulb works great compatible with Google Home, Amazon Echo and Apple HomeKit. Bulb is bright and adjustable with the Philip Hue App.

I have purchased several of the shoe bulbs that can change to any color but there were certain places that I did not need to spend the extra money but wanted to control my lighting. The bathroom was one of them. I just needed white light but wanted to be able to Set it to different brightness or have you turn on and off at certain times of the day. It works perfect!

Bought the hue/Alexa bundle and needed a few more bulbs. They work great. Setup couldn't be any easier. These one actually dim too. I thought these were just the ones that simply turned on or off. Works great with Alexa. Never have any issues. I also have ihome through my iPhone. Real hit or miss with that but I mostly use Alexa to turn the lights on and off.

I really like our Hue system. Although it's cool using the system as hands-free light control via voice recognizing devices like our Echo, I really like the automated scheduling and off-site light control features. Gone are the old days of clunky plug-in mechanical light timers that were not only absurdly predictable but could get completely thrown out of sync if a power outage occurred during your absence. Now, when I'm away from home, I can set several different times so lights appear as if they were being manually controlled. If a power outage occurs, it won't affect my lights at all when power returns. These lights are typical 60-watt brightness. They don't have a very bright or a white high color temperature but they get the job done. And when they go on sale like the bulbs I just purchased here at Best Buy, you can add extra remotely controlled bulbs all over the house. You only need one Hue bridge. Once you have it, you can add lights all over on different schedules and voice-commanded by different names. No complicated setup is required. I took the new bulbs home, inserted them into my lamps, powered them on, launched my Hue smartphone app, found the new bulbs in the app and added them to the bridge. That's it.

i used this with a dusk to dawn feature, at 20% brightness, low cost and easy to program.

Bright light that dims nicely. Very helpful. Fits in a desk lamp i put it in and has been wonderful for reading and room lighting.

Got this free bulb with the amazon echo plus. its a nice bulb very bright, connection is great. wouldn't buy it, but free is good.

This product is an excellent way to get started with Philips Hue with making a significant investment. Hue White meet most home automation needs.

we really enjoy having the smart LED bulb. well worthy it with the Amazon Echo Plus. it is like we have a smart room in our house

These bulbs work perfectly, sometimes the farest bulb has issues connecting but it helps that each bulb acts as a signal repeater.

I have both the white and color Hue bulbs in my installation and both work perfectly. Configuration is easy and the white bulb has all of the white color temperatures - warm white, cool white, sunlight, etc. Easy to interface with Amazon Alexa, and I don't use a hub since the Echo+ serves as a mostly-universal hub.

These are so much less expensive at Best Buy than I've found at other places. The lights themselves can be dimmed between a nightlight mode, dim mode and bright mode. These work with the Phillips Hue. LOVE THIS! I've placed bulbs in both my ceiling fans, bedroom lamp and living room lamp. My whole family utilizes these in different brightness.
