Tempted by a low price and wanting to get more value out of my old Echo, I took a chance. The bridge set up easily and it recognized the two bulbs nicely. Took a little trial and error to get it to work with Alexa, but it does. The best part is the apps for the mobile phone, tablets, and Windows computer. Handheld remotes with the apps and voice control with Echo.

I purchase the Hue starter kit and the bridge and two bulbs were easy to install and program. I have the app connected to my echo, I pad and I phone. The lights work on all three, in my home and while I'm away. Since my initial purchase I have purchased sever new bulbs and am on my way to a smart home. Unfortunately the my home app on the I pad does not work.

The unit performs 100% as advertised. I am unfairly only giving 4 out of 5 stars due to my Google Home occasionally telling me that the lights are unavailable. Not sure if it's Google or Phillips that is the problem. Using the Hue app, 99% of the time there isn't an issue. Only a small fraction of the time do I turn off/on a light only to check and see that nothing has happened. I do it again and it's working as intended. Works well with IFTTT though. Never an issue. So yes I still would recommend it,

Installed easily and works great. Works well with Alexa as well.

After looking around at various places, I found Best Buy to have the best price by more than $10. This is good considering most other stores had the same price. The hue lighting system was easy to install. Just connect the hub to your router, screw in the light bulbs and download and setup using the app. I would recommend this product.

Pricey, but the starter kit integrates fantastic with google home, homekit, and alexa, and is easy to set up and use. The good thing is it is the biggest cost upfront, and after that you can add as many lights as you want at your leisure, and a single bridge supports up to 100, plenty for the average consumer.

I bought this to use as outdoor lights that i wouldn't have to remember to turn on and off every day. I was able to set this up so that the lights come on at sunset and turn off by 11pm every day. Still works great and the bulbs are going strong, Love it!

I love the hue light bulbs! This kit was a great gift for a guy that is slow to change. We put the bulbs in his lamps in the living room. He plays with them all the time now. Best part is that the can dim! Now he wants the color bulbs!

I got this when I bought my Google Home and it works perfectly, I can control all the lights in my apartment using only my voice. It does lag a bit when using it via IFTTT, sometimes it takes a second or two for it to complete the action, but using it directly via the Google Home it works just fine.

I'd been interested in Hue products/getting a Hue setup for quite a while, but hadn't pulled the trigger. I'm so glad I did! Super easy to set up, so incredibly convenient. Fair warning, though: it's an addiction. After buying this setup, I bought color bulbs for just about every light in my house.

This is a great product for anyone looking to put smart lighting in their home. Have 20 bulbs now connected to this hub and the responsiveness and realiability of the connection is great. Using with Amazon Alexa for simple voice command lighting. Easy to setup and use, would recommend to anyone!

Got the Hue system to continue our journey into home automation, or as my wife calls it "Skynet." She was entirely skeptical at first. Highly. Super, skeptical. That didn't last for long now, and she's entirely a convert; to the point where she asks about adding in more rooms to the system.

Thr philips hue was easy to install had it hooked up bulbs in place and app installed on my phone. Up and running in about 10 to 15 minutes. There are a few 3rd party apps to choose from but having the white starter kit i only need the google play store philips hue app. It seems to work with minimal glitches. It does take a little trial and error to get used to it. So far I like it and plan to add colour soon.

I was kind of reluctant to buy into the Philips Hue products because the reviews I'd read were so mixed, it's hard to decide if it's worth it to buy into the system. But then Best Buy had a Hue sale and I thought I would just get into the basic system and see how it works. Boy, was I impressed with the Hue...easy to use, easy to set up, easy to maintain...the only con is it's expensive.

Everything you need to start using hands free lighting in your home is in this kit!

The overall white quality is good the initial setup took some time since we had to give the room a unique name because it was not recognizing one of the lights from the two of the starter kit. After assigning the unique name it functioned well. We were also able to pair it to Echo Dot (Alexa). The lights work great with the settings from our Echo Dot and have not had any issues.

Looking forward to adding more pieces to this lighting set - especially in our game room. We currently have these in lamps and I love the different percentages of brightness. I’m sure we’ll eventually have these throughout the house.

Been watching these lights for about 6 months. Finally purchased them and I'm sorry I waited. Setup was simple and although the lights weren't quite as bright as I'd hoped, they are enough. I love being able to control my lights from the app and even Amazon Echo.
