The Philips Hue High Lumen Recessed Downlight is a fantastic upgrade. It’s bright, smooth‑dimming, and the color accuracy is excellent. Setup over Bluetooth or the Hue Bridge is quick, and the light responds instantly to scenes, schedules, and voice control. The 5/6” fit is perfect, and the build quality feels premium. A great smart lighting addition.

Have had hue ligjts be before, but got this ones for my new house and wow. Best view! I love how tou cdn change thr color and add themes to them to go with the mood for movies partys etc. going to be adding 6 more pairs for the house. Definitely recommend hue lights

I LOVE Philips Hue light bulbs. The white and the multi colored ones. So when I saw they made these retro-fit can light adaptors, I had to get them. Now those ugly can lights, where you see up into the can light, are gone and replaced by these lovely perfectly fitting light kits. And with all the great Philips Hue features!

The product works great and was easy to install. My only wish was that it was easier to get flush with the drywall. Overall the Bluetooth technology has been amazing and the scenes are nice.

This is the NEW model and brighter! It looks and works fantastic, and for those wondering (because the two boxes and descriptions look almost identical that are on the market) this version is the 1100 lumens 12 watt, instead of the 700 lm 9W that’s been on the market for sometime. For the new model (this one) look for model number 578450.

A bit pricey, but it works flawlessly with Hue ecosystem and Homekit. The built quality is on par with other regular LED recess lights.

I love these lights! I have had other Hue lights in the past but when I bought a new house almost every light was recessed. These lights are so easy to install and work perfectly with the Hue app. I’m slowly but surely moving all my recessed lights to these.

I love these lights! They were so easy to install and link to my google home and hue apps. I set them up to come in at sunset. Right now, they are green and red for Christmas!

These lights are designed to go inside of a recessed box.. however if that isnt a problem they are amazing lights and definitely help set the mood when i have guest over. I always get compliments on the lights

Philips Hue has been doing Smart lighting from the very begining. Quality is great, app is easy to navigate, my entire home is filled with Philips Hue smart lighting, and I wouldn't have changed a thing (except for maybe the price lol)

Just purchased these lights! They are absolutely amazing! And very versatile…. They are easy to install too. Highly recommend them.

Replaced a standard recessed downlight with this. It was fairly easy. The can in place had these prong clamps. This has these tension metal bars that didn't work with it but it fit snuggly in place. I'd advise you to be careful if your can doesn't have a metal lip. If you have just drywall at the base be sure to put it in straight otherwise the tension will chip some pieces of your drywall. Adding to hue was easy, enhances the kitchen ambiance :)

I bought into the Hue ecosystem a few years ago when we remodeled our kitchen and decided to take the plunge on these can lights to upgrade our setup. Very glad I did. While obviously more expensive than a simple setup (especially since you need to have the bridge, a light switch, etc.), it really is an inexpensive way to enhance the space. I love that I can have it automatically change the color of light as the day progresses and set scenes for moments like when I want to go to bed. Plus, its fun to have the colors change for holidays (red for valentines, red and green during the super bowl, etc.). Overall, I really am glad I made this purchase.

Wow! Cant believe I waited so long to purchase. Easy to install and connected right away to my Hue bridge. Will definitely buy more Hur products for my house.

Love these lights!! Dark blue for watching movies. Green when Survivor is on. Candlelight for a cocktail party, and each a different jewel tone because my grand daughter loves color! Super easy to connect to Google Home too. Love everything about these lights.
