This is the third set of Festiva lights we have purchased. I cannot say enough about the build quality and function of the hue light system compared to knock-off brands I've tried. (Yes, the others are much cheaper.) Setting scenes through the app is simple, and cycling through the holiday palettes is a real treat. When used with the Sync box, watching the tree lights dance to classic Christmas songs brings joy to your heart. While pricey, if you are looking for your next light purchase, look no further.

Not the least affordable but weatherproof, easy to setup, control and illuminate the area. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love these lights. Going to play Xmas music and have the lights dance to the music. Doesn't come with clips to attach outside so you will have to come up with another solution. As far as only being able to use these lights for 90 days, I have reached out to Philips Hue and the new lights bought in 2023 can be out year long. Some of the plugs the sent with the box have the 90 day warning but that plug is not meant for outdoor use. I used a outdoor 40w power supply which works great.

Best lights you'll ever own! The whole family really enjoyed customizing our Christmas Tree. Now im thinking where else i can leverage these beautiful light.

Very satisfied. If you are good with your phone you will be good at everything Hue.

Pro: - Brightness can be adjusted - It can get really bright - Light enough to string across the yard with no strain - Can have multiple colors on one string - App can change the gradient of colors to make it seamless Con: - App makes it a hassle sometimes - I had to reinstall the app multiple times because it wasn't coming up on the phone when I started it - Couldn't turn off the lights and had to unplug it because the app wouldn't respond TLDR: If you can get the app going, the lights work and look beautifully!

They can be used year round, despite what the manual says. That is standard for holiday lighting per UL code. All manufacturers of string lights are supposed to state that. I used my Festavias year riund last year. I blught additional ones since they mow are also rated for outside.

Got a lot of hate for my friends after I told them how much I spent on these lighrs but I honestly don’t care because I love them!!! You can change the light patterns to be a linear line of colors, and mirrored line to evenly reflect or even scatter the colors like normal christmas lights and have the lights slowly/quickly individually change colors. Not to mention there are effects you can have them do like have them mimic a like candle lights, fire place, glitter and ext. Only wish i could change the colors of the effects but hoping this is a feature hue is working on releasing in the future. They ar every fun and unique and love how i can sync them with my other lights and have a matching color vibe in my livingroom!

These lights maybe on the more expensive side but the color, app, and build quality ate well worth the price and much prettier colors than some cheaper lights.

These might not be the Christmas lights you want. Love that they fit into the Hue ecosystem, but you really cannot set them up to look like regular colored Xmas tree lights. Hue has scenes you can use, but you cannot really edit these - only brightness. You can change the color of the entire strand, but that's all. Expensive white lights!

The most reliable seasonal string lights you can find. The cost is worth the reward. Great for indoor and outdoor use

I enjoy the Hue products generally, but this one is a bit frustrating. The string of lights is connected to power in the middle of the strand-- awkward. Additionally, only 90 days max outdoor usage is expected per the fine print.

People are confused that these lights are only going to last 90 days due to language that is present in every see of holiday lights that are intended for seasonal installation. These are not due to quality or longevity reasons of the product -- google "UL 588"....

Thank you to the other reviewer who posted this fact. Its not mentioned on best buys site, philip hues site or reviews. You have to download the owners manual to find the langauage. Ridiculous this is not mentioned anywhere. From the manual: This seasonal use product is not intended for permanent installation or use. 90 days maximum.
