I bought this honestly because my Best Buy didn't have what I was interested in, and I thought this might be an alternative. It's really cool! If you are a Hue addict like me, you know how cool the lights are, but to be able to unplug one and carry it with you - woah... I use this light by my computer during the day, then I unplug it and carry it with me to watch a movie, or sit outside. When it's time for bed, I wanted a little "night light" so I carry the Go to our bedroom and set it on 5% red. Now I have just enough light to see where I'm going, and best of all, the battery at low settings will last a LONG time. Obviously if you make it brighter, the battery life is shorter. Also, lets say you are far from your house or bring it to a friends - you can still use it! The app wont work because you need a Bridge for that, but there's a button on the bottom to make it bright, dim, candle mode, and even push and hold to select any color you want... This was an accidental purchase, but one I have been happy with since night one. Only negative for me is the odd shape. I get it, but it is a little odd. Still, the form works and is kind of easy to carry too, so whatever. Really cool light. I wish Philips would make more battery lights.

Great lamp that is super versatile. It can work plugged it and on battery. If it’s on the battery it has a very short battery life.

Bought this little lamp to have on the small floating shelf by the bed. It puts out a good bit of light and the RGB effects are very nice. Being able to unplug it and take it around the house is also very nice. My wife likes it in the bathroom for calming vibes and my daughter loves to carry it around changing the colors!

at first when my husband said that he wanted to buy this light I was a little upset at the price and I didn't think that it could actually benefit us at all. I let him get it and it actually is wonderful in the dark corner of our basement and then it's really cool that the kids can take it off of the charger and walk around the house with it at night!

I set this item on my desk for additional light. It looks good and doesn’t take up much space. Also, it gives off good light and the colors can be changed and the light an be dimmed. It also stays on without being plugged up. I think this is going to be great if I have a power outage. And it works with good home.

I'll start off saying I love the portable light. It's bright and has a modern look easy to connect and use. Personally love using it outside thanks to the smart battery. Could use a longer battery life and Would like if it came with some type of grip tape on the back to keep from slipping out your hand.

I bought this as a gift for my wife who wanted a table lamp for her desk that she could use while working. She loved it, the colors are really nice and it can get bright enough. Also, there is ease in changing the color without the app why pressing the on button several times. It's great!

We love this light. It’s surprisingly bright and adds great ambiance lighting. Battery is decent and has come in handy when we lost power. Only complaint is it is a bit expensive, but that’s hue overall

Its not the prettiest on its own, but its very handy to tuck away behind a plant for up-lighting, or in a corner for ambient glow. I've never used tit for its portable use-case, its simply something I've never needed. But that's certainly an option. The color quality is just as high as the rest of the Hue line.

Been using Hue products for the last 2 years, they have a pretty hefty price tag for a simple light, but honestly I cant get enough of them, they all work together so seamlessly and create such a great lighting system, I got this specific one for my bedside table, It also doubles as a wireless nightlight, which I didn't realize until after I bought it. Sometimes it can be a little too aggressively bright when sitting too close but the brightness is easily adjusted

Gives off a lot more light than i was expecting. I also like that it charges so it can function cordlessly.

Love it! It’s my bed lamp and use it every day. Mostly used it as a night lamp but love the different color choices! I only use a few of them but the other colors are good for holidays. I also like how it doesn’t have to be plugged in all the time as long as it has enough charged, you could use it.

Beautiful colors, easy to use and set up, very useful. Nice addition to any room or balcony. The whole family can use and control with phone. Price is reasonable.

We use this lamp in the bedroom for mood lighting, and its very easy to unplug and take out on the patio for relaxing in the summer time. Holds a charge pretty well (a few hours). It also paired easily with our Hue dimmer switch. Great product!

I'm a big fan pf Philips Hue but I can't rave about the new Philips Hue Go enough. You can use it while traveling and have perfect lighting anywhere, especially since you don't have to be connected to the bridge. I also use it for video conference lighting and it works wonders.

My favorite. I bought two! It’s battery last forever plus it’s bright but no too bright. You can adjust the color and brightness to fit your need

I travel a lot for long periods of time. I have a bugout bag with all the electronics I need (Small Echo Show, this Philips Hue ambient light, power strip and various cords). As long as I have wifi, my show and light are tethered (without a bridge) and thanks to Alexa's Rules, its on when I get to the Airbnb, auto turn off when I set the timer or if I arrive last, from my Alexa app, I say "Alexa turn on travel light 100%."

This little lamp works well for my needs. I'm using it as a light that my toddler can change on his own as well as to setup a routine for bedtime and wake up that matches his hatch sleep. He recently sleep regressed, and this light has helped him go from waking up 5 times a night to maybe 1 or 2. Besides, it is very very easy to use, understand, and to program, especially coupled with the existing Hue Bridge that I have. Only complaint that I have is that I wish it would be brighter. I don't believe it would be difficult for the manufacturer to enable a higher lumen from the LEDs, especially with the high lumen bulbs that are on the market now. I suppose, though, that would likely depreciate the value of the battery as it wouldn't last very long.

The Hue Go is typical of other Hue products in that it’s a high-quality light with contemporary styling, versatility, and easy setup in the Hue app.

Recently replaced my ceiling fans with fans that have no lights. Bought this to brighten up the room. Works flawlessly. Can carry around - even outside as needed. Also can be set to any color and intensity you can imagine. Bought a second one for my office.
