    These bulbs allow a wide range of user settings and flexibility. If you are only using the dimmer function, then they are somewhat pricey.

    Perfect fit in my home's recessed ceiling lights. I also have some of the two-pin sockets in my recessed lights, and was able to fit the Hue bulbs with a two-pin adapter and it still fits behind the surface level of the ceiling.

    I'm in the Philips Hue ecosystem already, having bought A19 bulbs. Picked up these for canned lighting in various rooms in my house, including my living room and foyer. Works like a charm, and paired with Alexa for easy control.

    I love the Philips Hue, but I would spend the extra money and get the color changing bulb. This is nice but doesn’t add the ambience factor that comes with the color changing bulbs.
