I added this as a series along our Front walkway. It’s a bit of a circuitous path, so having lighting became a nice touch. It automatically switches on using a Hue motion sensor. So at night time as soon as the person starts towards the house, the lights turn on lighting the winding pathway to the front door. it’s set up in the Hue app to turn off automatically after 15 minutes. I set different colors during seasonal holidays, such as red, white and blue for patriotic days or red & green for Yule tide, Having different colors set up seems a nice touch. Set up was very easy. I have it maxed out at five lights, off one power supply. Adding the fifth one to the previous set of four was quite easy. Phillips says to only have five lights per power source, and I haven’t tested whether it really has the power if I added yet a sixth one. Given the dependability, and inter-operability with whatever smart home system you use, I found the Phillips Hue brand to have been well worth the slightly extra cost. I can use my Apple Watch and Siri to turn it on or off, without having to dig out my phone, and boot up an app.

I ordered these two Ballard as a replacement for two of five that I originally installed about 7 years ago. This is unusual because I have Philips Hue lights that are well over 10 years old , 1st generation, that are still going strong. The only thing that I could think would shorten the life of these ballards would be due to the temperature swings in St. Louis.BTW these lights go on at sunset and off at sunrise.

These light are easy to set up and look great. Multi color allow for seasonal changes. The price is more than most landscaping lights but they are worth it. I will be buying more for my back yard.

These lights give off plenty of light to see a pathway, but I prefer not to see the light coming from the top of the unit, as it is a little harsh on your eyes. Well made and seem durable but expensive. Only willing to pay it because we love controlling color, brightness and on/off from our mobile phones, and we could install ourselves.

We bought the Calla lights for lighting around our pool. We’ve paired them with two Hue Lilly lights and love the effect they create. Great as pathway lighting and for creating different color scenes.

These work great with the spot lights that I have from Hue as well. I setup scenes for the different holidays and seasons and my whole house twinkles and glows all around. I love the Hue lights and have them all over my house. They are a little pricey but they do work and never fail.

I love the Phillips Hue set of lighting products, and got the Callas to put on our back deck, programmed to turn on automatically just before sunset and go off by midnight

I have had my eye on these lights by Philips for quite some time. I finally found a great deal in store on them - over 50% off. I figured I would get a couple, but didn't realize that these were extensions or additional lights for preexisting systems with a power supply already. Buyer beware - these lights CANNOT be used on their own, even if you have a bridge - they must be added to an existing light system with power cables, or you must purchase a separate adapter for them. The setup was great, and they appear to be great quality, both as far as the build goes as well as the light output. I highly recommend making the hole for the stake with another tool rather than pushing the lights directly intot he ground, as it is a weaker plastic mount. Either way, they seem solidly built and put out a great amount of light. Once of them was a bit of a pain to integrate to the Hue app and ultimately had to be added via SN, but once they were added up they took the scheduling and settings just fine. They've endured about a dozen heavy rains where the water sits on them for the better part of a day with no apparent degredation, leaking or malfunctioning. We shall see how they last over the next few years, but so far so good! I will definitely be purchasing more for the property.

I added two of these flanking my front porch walkway to light the brick path. Setup was easy. I have them wired on a line with other Hue outdoor uplights. The cables and transformer connections are the same. My only complaint is that after 12 months of use, it looks like the white plastic lens areas are very slightly yellowed. I would need a new one to place side by side to be certain. I hope that this does not continue to the point of being unsightly. They still look good at this time.

Love the different colors. Can change the colors for holidays like Fourth of July, Halloween, Christmas etc. Easy to connect with all the tools provided. Make sure you have the base unit before purchasing this.

I purchased these lights for use in our backyard patio. Setup was a breeze using the Hue app. The Hue app lets you control the color intensity and brilliance for each light. Makes a nice patio addition. Also built to withstand the elements.

Great at providing accent color to outdoor space by placing under glass side table. A little annoying that it doesn't come with a plug however.

I gave a small fortune in hue lights, but they are awesome. Our lightning, both indoor and out, are the talk of the neighborhood. The outdoor pathway lights are easy to install and can be seen it’s all their glorious colors from streets always. I love setting up scenes on different Holidays.

Title says it all. This item is so easy to install and to use. The ability to customize the colors and to set it to turn on and off on a scheduled time directly from your app is very convenient. The only real issue is how to hide the wires?

setup was pretty straight forward. I got them setup inside before moving them outside. they have done well in the rain so far. they can get bright when turned all the way up. I have it paired with the main and then added another light for a total of 3.

Hue knocks it outside of the part. Super easy set up and assembly is 2 parts. Have 15 similar around outside. The color scheme and play format is second to none
