This razor is great. You only have to charge in occasionally. Very easy on the face.

I love it. Handling is easy. Takes only 2-3 mins to shave. Battery life is good. I'm using it for 2 weeks without charging.

I bought this from the Deal of the Day offer and it is well worth the cost I paid, I think it was $57 at the time. Glad I bought it because it is always nice to have an extra around to use while another is charging. Works great, nice and quiet. Not sure that I would personally ever use it in the shower even though you can.

My son only recently needed to start shaving. As a teenager, he has recent outbreaks of acne and was constantly, therefore, cutting himself with bladed razors. I bought this "Philips Norelco - 4700 Electric Shaver - Black/Silver" for him when Best Buy had it on a special Deal of the Day. I am sooo glad I did. It gives Jake a nice smooth shave, whether using it wet or dry, and no more cuts. Bonus, it is helping to clear up his skin since not opening sores over and over and helps him to keep face cleaner!. Plus, I don't have to worry about constantly buying disposable razors for him. Hurray to Norelco and to Best Buy. He is very happy and so am I. You should definitely check it out for yourself. Good elec razor, great price, quiet, smooth, quick charge.

This is an above average shaver. Gives a close, comfortable shave. My only complaint is that the head release button is located at the front edge of the razor where it causes it to open inadvertently while shaving depending on how you hold it.

This was for my teenage son, who really didn't want to start shaving. He opened, charged read up on it and used it without even mentioning it to me. I noticed the wonderful afterproduct and was glad he took the initiative to handle it himself. He hasn't used it in the shower yet, but I am sure that he will.

I am a long time Norelco user. I use it more as a trimmer for spots I choose not to cut to close with a razor or to use for a quick touch up if I haven't saved for a day or two. Therefore mine usually last longer tan others. Although in the past I have picked up some new blades for my other Norelcos on Ebay, I do question sometime if they are real or fakes due to the prices. So the instead of replacing the blades every 5 years, I just buy a new Norelco and enjoy the new blades plus any new technology that has developed. I guess to get 5 stars I would like to see them a bit less expensive but that probably isn't as fair as it could be for me so as far as quality it still gets 5 stars.

Good product and good price. I usually don't use an electronic shaver but bought it cause it was a good price and have used it once so far when I was in a rush and it worked well.

This shaver does the job. It shaves close and is easy to clean with running water. It also has a pop up trimmer which is great for close details.

I needed a shaver to store in my drawer - just in case a situation arose. This machine works better than expected as a back-up. However, it is not designed as a back-up. I think it will make a super full time shaver, i.e. if I gave it a chance.

My husband says it works better than he thought it would. He still likes a regular razor better, but this electric one is better and quicker when in a hurry.

I have only used this razor a few times so far, but it is easy to use and has done a solid job when I have used it. Seems to be of good quality for the price.
