Phillips Norelco 5300 seems to run at a really slow quiet level compared to my old electric razor, but it is actually a really good electronic razor. I just had to get used to the quieter and lower version. Gives me a good shave, hasn't once, cut or grab any hair during a session. The more I use it, the more I like this razor. For some people, they might want a more high powered razor, but this seems perfect for me. 5 stars for my usage, but for men with a lot more heavier beard or hair growth, it might not be strong or powerful enough.

First Norelco I've ever owned. Overall for the price I paid, because of the Deal of the Day, I'm happy with my purchase. The shaver charges quickly and it'll notify you with a lit icon it's time to rinse the heads. Very light to hold and the shave is good but not great. When this unit bites the dust I'm going to stay with this brand but purchase a higher end model with more shaving heads.

I've been using Norelco shavers for years. They don't ever seem to quit. But the blades get dull after a while. So when shopping for replacement blades at Best Buy during the Black Friday sale, I discovered I could buy this new shaver for $35.00 while the replacement blades for my old shaver cost $36.00. So buying this shaver was a no-brainer. I like it a lot. I would like it better if I didn't have to take the shaver head off and put on the trimmer head to trim the side burns, etc. This was a great buy.

Thought I was saving money buying a cheap knock-off like this Norelco, but it didn't last a month. Right when it died BB put this on sale for the same price. My last Norelco is still working after 20 years, but I really wanted a waterproof one. Seems like I get a better shave in the shower, even w/ bar soap. When done I just flip the top open to rinse, & I don't worry about this one shorting out.

Love this razor! use it wet or dry and does a great job. Also has a trimmer attachment to do sideburns and beards.

This Norelco shaver is different from ones I have used in the past. It takes a little getting used to but works quite well. My old Norelco is over 3 years old and I was looking to buy a new shaver head replacement. I didn't realize how expensive they were. I found the 5300 Shaver on a Black Friday sale and it cost less than the shaver heads for my old one. Good deal if you can get it on sale!

Very quit when running. Shaves close without burning. like the floating heads as they give me a nice close shave.

very easy maintenance and one-touch open cover make the washing process simple. most of all shaving feels soft and smooth.
