A Busy Dad's "No-Fuss" Grooming Solution
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.----- SUMMARY ----- Verdict: Between juggling daycare drop-offs and trying to find five minutes of quiet, my "personal time" is a myth. Any grooming tool I use has to work efficiently and reliably, or it just doesn't get used. Shaving, especially whole-body grooming, used to be a frustrating chore marked by slow, patchy results. Worse was the miserable aftermath. I previously struggled to manage recurring ingrown hairs, especially on my chest and sensitive areas. It felt like I was spending more time managing the painful, itchy aftermath of a shave than the shave itself. The Body Groomer 7000, designed for complete, versatile body & intimate grooming, has genuinely changed my routine, proving to be the no-fuss solution I desperately needed. Pros: - Efficient and reliable for whole-body grooming - Resolves issues with ingrown hairs and razor burn on sensitive skin - Interchangeable dual-head system (foil shaver and trimmer) is easy to use - Shaver provides a close shave (down to 0.2mm) without nicks or irritation - 100% showerproof, allowing for quick, easy cleanup - Long-lasting lithium battery (up to 120 minutes of cordless use) - 5-minute quick charge feature for last-minute use - Optilight LED functionality illuminates hair and hard-to-see areas - Foldable back attachment included for reaching the back and neck - Travel lock feature prevents accidental battery drainage Cons: - Uses an outdated USB-A charging cable end - Proprietary charging port on the groomer limits charging flexibility - Charging plug/adapter is not included in the kit ----- DETAILS ----- Design & Kit Components: The Body Groomer 7000 comes as a comprehensive kit, including the main unit, a 2D flexing head for shaving, a trimmer head, two adjustable combs, one for precision (1-3 mm) and another for 3-7mm, a 1 mm intimate comb, a foldable back attachment, a charging stand, a USB cable, a soft fabric pouch, and a cleaning brush. The unit itself feels solid yet lightweight and is easy to grip. The cornerstone of the design is the interchangeable dual-head system. Swapping between the foil shaver and the trimmer head is surprisingly easy using a single eject button. The trimmer head is especially useful, featuring adjustable combs that reduce the need to fumble through numerous attachments for different lengths. I found the quick-eject mechanism a relief compared to my old, cumbersome clippers. The fact that this groomer is 100% showerproof is essential. It means I can stack tasks. I'll do a quick trim while my conditioner is setting. I just rinse the head under the water, and I'm done. There's no separate cleanup, no hair in the sink. For me, that's a massive "dad win." Performance & Comfort: This is where the Body Groomer 7000 truly shines and solves my long-standing grooming problems. My old shaver gave me genuine anxiety. After a few painful nicks in sensitive areas, I started to dread using it, which meant I'd put the task off. This groomer is the complete opposite. The "Triple Protect" system isn't just marketing copy. It's a huge confidence-booster. I can get a close, comfortable shave without wincing or worrying about the outcome. That peace of mind alone is worth the price. The foil shaver head is backed by this "Triple Protect" shave system, which utilizes patented pearl tips, hypoallergenic foil, and a skin guard specifically for enhanced comfort. This technology is effective, giving me the close results I wanted down to 0.2mm in length without the usual accompanying drama. The head uses 2D flexing head technology, which follows body contours, catching hairs that other fixed razors miss. A pro-tip I discovered: for the smoothest finish on longer hair, use the trimmer attachment first to cut the hair down, then follow up with the shaver head. It's an extra 30 seconds that makes a huge difference. The ability of the shaver head to utilize dual trimming bars means I can move the unit in both forward and backward directions, making quick work of larger areas, which is invaluable for a busy dad. I'm not doing a careful, 20-minute grooming session. I'm doing a 3-minute rush job. The fact that this shaves effectively in both directions cuts my time in half. The uniquely engineered blade technology with rounded tips on the trimmer ensures that even trimming longer body hair is a more comfortable experience. Other Features: One feature I appreciate is the Optilight functionality on the heads. This small LED light illuminates the area you’re grooming, which is particularly helpful for discreet or hard-to-see spots, bringing a certain peace of mind when working on the most sensitive areas. The foldable back attachment is a thoughtful accessory. While I haven't needed it much, I can see how this extension arm would be extremely useful for managing hair on the back and neck, allowing you to reach areas otherwise impossible to groom solo. The included travel lock feature (activated by holding the power button for 5 seconds) is also a fantastic addition for ensuring the battery doesn't drain accidentally while packed. Battery Life & Charging: The battery performance has been stellar. The lithium battery is rated to deliver up to 120 minutes of continuous cordless use on a full charge. This longevity means I don't have to charge it after every use, supporting the "no-fuss" element I require. For unexpected needs, the 5-minute quick charge feature has already saved me. I was running late for a family event and realized the groomer was dead. I plugged it in while I brushed my teeth, and that 5-minute quick charge gave me just enough power to do a quick cleanup. That's the exact "no-fuss" reliability I needed. My primary grievance lies in the charging setup. While it charges via USB (which is handy for travel), the cable uses an outdated USB-A end and, more frustratingly, the port on the groomer itself is proprietary. In today’s world, adopting a standard USB-C port would greatly enhance convenience and eliminate the worry of losing a specialized cable. Also, you should be aware that a charging plug (brick) is not included. ----- WHAT’S IN THE BOX ----- 1 x Philips Body Groomer 7000 Series 1 x 2D Flexing Shaver Head 1 x Timmer head 1 x Adjustable Precision Comb (1-3 mm) 1 x Adjustable Pivoting Comb (3-7 mm) 1 x Intimate Comb 1 x Foldable Back Attachment 1 x Charging Stand 1 x USB-A Cable 1 x Soft Pouch 1 x Cleaning Brush

Easy and comfortable to use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Body Groomer 7000 is an easy to use and pretty versatile groomer. Its interchangeable heads and attachments make it well suited for what it is intended. I haven't had any problems with cuts or pulling so far, and it seems to do a very nice job overall. - Hardware The Groomer itself is lightweight, but not cheap feeling. The included attachments offer a nice variety for different needs. The heads are very easy to swap out, using a single button release that is placed in a way that you won't accidentally press it either. The included extension arm is a neat idea as well. I didn't have much of a need for it myself, but I could see how it would be very useful for back hair, or other hard to reach areas. The groomer isn't overly loud either, which is nice, since some of these tend to be on the louder side. - Battery life I have used the groomer a few times now and it still is holding charge well. I fully expect it to live up to the battery life claims. A minor complaint for me is that a charging brick is not included. I appreciate that the groomer uses USB for charging, as that makes it much easier to travel with. And, the included dock is a nice and convenient way to store and charge the groomer, but I really wish it included the brick as well. Pros: Works well, no cuts or scrapes during use, nice accessories (attachments, dock and travel pouch), charges reasonably fast Cons: I wish it included the power brick

Top to Bottom Groomer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You don’t have to be a bear to get the benefits from using this body groomer. It comes with a shaver type head as well as a trimmer head with adjustable glides that will trim any and every part of your body. I found the shaver head left a smooth finish without irritating my skin and the trimmer assembly’s adjustable glides allowed me to keep my facial and body hair at a more manageable length. The only downside to this trimmer is that to get the shaver and trimmer like features Philips had to do it using two different head assemblies which have to be attached and removed from the base unit. Although this is a simple step it does take some time to get used to how all the parts interconnect. Lastly this is a good trimmer for the body but there are no attachments for trimming ears or noses. This kit comes with the base trimmer, two head assemblies, three glides along with a storage bag, cleaning brush, charging base and cable. The shaver head assembly supports a built-in shaver foil and it has the ability to pivot so you can get a very close cut. The trimmer head assembly has an open top that allows you to attach the trimmer head and the various glides. It does not pivot thus the need for two separate assemblies. Philips does a great job in replacing numerous glide heads with two adjustable ones. No more digging through the razer bag to find the right glide head, now you just rotate the knob to get to your desired length. This makes the job so much easier especially if you want variable lengths. This razer is longer and skinnier than other trimmers I have owned. It is easy to grip and it doesn’t vibrate much in your hand. It is however slightly louder than I expected but it’s not overly distracting. There is a small light near the cutting surface that does add some additional light as well as helps you know exactly where you are trimming. They also include a back extension for trimming the hair on your back but they only recommend using the shaver assembly which may not work for some guys. I found the back extension usable but it’s more of a worse case scenario when you don’t have someone else to help you. The charging base and cable need to be connected to a USB-A type supply. The power connector in the trimmer and in the base station are proprietary so you cannot recharge the trimmer by directly connecting a standard USB-C type cable – you have to use the included cable.

Excellent Trimmer!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve used quite a few grooming tools over the years, including Philips' own OneBlade, which I like for avoiding ingrown hairs. But when it comes to trimming anything thicker than peach fuzz or dealing with sensitive spots, I always seem to end up with nicks or patchy results. That’s what got me curious about this Philips Body Groomer. First off, setup was a breeze. It charges with USB, which is handy for travel, though I do wish it used USB-C on both ends instead of the old USB-A style. I had to dig around and ended up plugging it into a clock radio charger just to juice it up. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. Build quality is impressive. Feels solid in the hand but light enough that it’s not awkwardly balanced when trying to get the right angle in the nether regions. The trimmer guards are nice. I especially like the smaller guard with the 1.5 setting — that’s likely what I’ll use the most. The foil shaver head is smaller than a full face shaver, but it really surprised me with how close it shaved. For longer hair, it works best if you trim things down first and then use the foil side to clean it up smooth. I actually used it on my face and neck just to see how it’d do, and while I wouldn’t replace my regular face shaver with it, I’d definitely throw this in a travel bag and use it for everything while on the road — neck, chest, and yes, below the belt. (Pro tip: clean up after yourself in the hotel… learned that one the hard way when I got charged a pet cleaning fee. No pets, just grooming. Awkward call to the front desk.) For the down below areas I first used the 1.5 trimmer and then decided to use the foil head for a smooth finish in um…certain areas. I’ll just say. Impressive outcome and no need to tear off any Kleenex to stop the nicks from bleeding. I haven’t used the foldable back attachment, and to be honest it’s probably the one piece that felt a bit cheap — kind of flimsy compared to the rest of the unit. Overall, I’m really happy with it. It’s versatile enough to handle a full grooming routine from top to bottom, and no nicks!

Philips Norelco Body Groomer 7000
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone with sensitive skin, prone to razor bumps I was excited to see how the Philips Norelco Body Groomer 7000 would do for me. I am pleased with the results. All of the included attachments (and there are many) worked without causing me any issues! I favored the main razor guard attachment and found it has a nice close shave while maintaining clear issue free skin. I keep my beard pretty long due to major rash on my face otherwise, but like to keep my neck area clean and this blade worked wonders. Philips includes an attachment to assist with shaving hard to reach areas, particularly the back. I found this attachment easy to secure the razor too and it gave plenty of range to get to all the places I needed. The razor does not have any hair catching area, so be prepared to either clean up, or, shave in an area that is easy to clean, such as the shower. The Body Groomer 7000 is also water resistant so it is able to be used in wet places or can easily be rinsed off in the sink when done. The charger is easy to mount and charges quickly, however, there is no included DC plug, so you need to find your own USB powered charger. Any moderns phone charger should work. There is a nice bag to keep all the spare attachments. overall, this is a great shaver especially for anyone with sensitive skin.

Compact and portable, but suboptimal performance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The main advantage of this cordless body groomer is its compact size and portability. Performance and efficacy left something to be desired. I found that I had to make several passes to make sure all hair was trimmed equally, so it took significantly longer than with an old corded hair clipper I’ve primarily used. The various attachments allow fairly fine adjustment of hair length, and there’s also a razor attachment for a clean shave. The razor attachment also was fairly slow and required several passes. All attachments appeared very safe for delicate areas, with a design that prevents accidental nicking. There’s a blue LED light that illuminates where you’re clipping, but I’m not sure how useful that really is (unless you’re using a mirror to see what you’re doing down there). Attachments are fairly easy to swap, although it can get a little confusing, since there’s the main attachment part, and then the top trimming part. There’s also a long extension that’s useful for trimming back hair (which I didn’t test). The unit is waterproof, so you can use it in the shower (not ideal, since it works best on dry hair) or rinse it under running water to clean. Charging is via a proprietary port (BOO! I don’t see why they couldn’t have used a standard USB-C port), and the included cable connects to any USB-A charge port (BOO again, since USB-C has quickly become the standard). No wall charger plug is included, so you need to use one of your own. The specs report runtime of 80 minutes, which seems accurate. The built-in rechargeable battery is not user-replaceable, so when the battery inevitably degrades, you’ll either have to pay some 3rd party service to replace it, or it becomes e-waste (you can’t use the trimmer while plugged in to power). The package comes with a charging stand, but only a soft carrying bag (no case). There’s also a small cleaning brush (which I forgot to include in the pics). Overall, it’s an ok trimmer if you need something compact and wireless. But there are better options if you want better and quicker trims.

Philips Norelco - Body Groomer 7000 - Black
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually use a full size set of clippers for manscaping but to be honest they are not the easiest to use in certain areas if you know what I mean? This trimmer is made for cleaning up everything below the neckline and comes with a handle so you can reach spots on your back even. The smaller size is much easier to maneuver around the sensitive bits you don’t want to cut so I do like that over the full size clippers. It says it’s IPX7 rated for water intrusion, the internet says “A rating of 7 means the device is protected against liquids when fully immersed at depths between 15 cm and 1 metre for a period of up to 30 minutes at a time.” The instruction manual though says that they recommend cutting only clean dry hair because wet hair sticks to everything. I used it dry and showered right after and it worked fine. Besides the trimmer, it comes with a charge cable and charge dock. They chose to use the same plug on both the trimmer and dock so you can charge the trimmer with or without the dock. The trimmer DOES NOT operate when plugged into the cable though. No charger is included but it has a standard usb-A end so you probably have several chargers around the house already. Besides the back attachment, it includes a shaving head, a cleaning brush, a storage pouch, an “intimate” guard marked as 1 mm, and two ingenious trimmer heads. One is adjustable from 1 to 3 with a rotating knob, the other has a slide lever marked 3 thru 7. These two are pointier than the intimate guard so be careful should you choose to use them around the squishy bits. The shaving head has a pair of cutting bars to trim longer hairs and the shaving head cleans up the stubble, the head is floating to follow contours. This will take it down to bare skin. The trimmer attachment and the taller shaving head both have a little built in light. Haven’t used it enough to deplete the initial charge, four uses so far. Power seems more than adequate for the job.

Shaves your fuzzy bits safely
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ooooh, so we all know how scary grooming your nether regions can be 😬 I mean. At least for me. I’ve nicked myself in the past a couple of times with blades and scissors. Then along came this handy tool. The Phillips Norelco Body Groomer 7000! I was a little skeptical and nervous about using this the first time, especially because the manual that is in the box is kind of vague about explaining how to use it and just shows pictures of the attachments. But if you’re familiar with har clippers and electric shavers you’ll be able to figure off what does what. Anywho, while showering.. I brought this gadget in with me and let it rip. I’ll say that the mission was accomplished. I managed to trim majority of the hair down to a nice short even length without cutting my skin. It was quite easy to use honestly. Worked perfectly fine with water, and rinsed out easy after in the shower. No mess, no injuries, just a nice clean trim. The shaver comes with many attachments and an extension arm, I spose for if you want to shave your back and hard to reach areas. A thoughtful gesture, you won’t have to bug your girlfriend to shave the parts you can’t reach. Battery seems to be good, no need to recharge mid shave, it comes with a stand and usb c cable to charge the device. Does not come with a charging brick though. You’ll need to provide your own. An “old” standard usb adapter worked fine. Anywho, I really like this machine. It is going to make trimming my body hair a lot less scary lol. If you’re wanting a good body hair shaver / trimmer. Look no further, this thing is awesome

A very good shaver that will handle your fuzz!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nobody likes to shave, especially when it involves shaving your body and the “special spots” on your body. It’s difficult and in some cases, almost dangerous, if you don’t use the right type of shaver. The Philips Norelco Body Groomer 7000 is designed just for this use (I’ll just refer to it as the Philips 7000). The Philips 7000 comes with the main body shaver with a pivoting head called a “2D flexing shaver head”, and along with a more traditional shaver head, comb/guides, bi-directional guides good for certain other body parts, a foldable back attachment so you can shave your back without asking anyone to do it for you! You get the charging stand, a USB-A to USB-C cable, and a travel pouch. You’re ready to go. Charging doesn’t take very long and there’s a basic charge at least in the groomer I got. At full charge, you can get up to around 120 minutes of runtime, so more than enough for several shaves. While the unit is rated to be completely showerproof, personally, I never like to use this type of device directly under running water, but instead stand to the side when using it. They do have batteries in them, after all. So far, so good. No water issues. It’s also reasonably quiet for a shaver. The flex head glides easily over major body areas with even a small light to help illuminate the area as well. When using the adapters, you can trip hair length from 0.2 to 7 mm which is helpful, as is the “intimate comb” for the uh-oh areas. The Philips 7000 is also very comfortable to hold. So far so good in terms of not getting nicked or cut. Shaving has been smooth overall. It’s just a matter of learning how to adjust the guides for what you need. The back handle does take some getting used to when using, so give it time and you should get the hang of it. My one complaint would be the charging base; today, I would like to see everyone adopt a standard USB-C type of port/plug for charging so you can just plug it in directly. In the case of this model, it’s a proprietary port and plug, so if you should lose the charger and cable, you’ll have to get another one that’s not standard USB-C. People don’t usually consider a shaver as a major purchase, but when you’re talking about shaving your body and private areas, it’s definitely important. For the asking price, the Philips 7000 is worth the money and will do what you need it to do with little to no worry. Everybody’s body is different and has different shapes and curves to it, but so far I haven’t found any big hiccups when using this to make me worry. I definitely recommend it!

Shaves Well!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my wife because she had an older Philips razor that was like this new Philips Body Groomer 7000 she could use it in the shower to shave under her arms and legs. The older razor was a Philips Norelco, not sure of the model #, it had worn out from use, but I must say if this one lasts as long as her previous one did she will be well pleased. She did say this groomer was a little lighter than the other groomer but that it was better by far in shaving her more closely and smoothly. She likes the fact that this comes w/ so many attachments that she most likely won’t use each of them, but if she ever had the need she would have the attachments. I messed w/ it some and the way the shaving head on this groomer flexes is really nice. I was really impressed w/ the attachment that Philips sends w/ this groomer, I don’t have a “hairy back” but if you do this attachment and groomer are for you, it will literally allow you to shave your back and other parts w/ ease. My wife said that she can shave her legs w/ ease w/ the attachment. I like the charging stand that comes w/ this groomer because it is small and will fit in her travel bag w/ ease. She also likes that this groomer has a light, which her much older Philips did not. Overall, this is a very well made groomer and shaves really close, its well made and

Great Tool, Clunky Head Management, Horrid Manual!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me come out swinging, and say that the included users manual and the online manual's are horrible. Like a three-year-old planned it out and then a two-year-old executed. I can't remember a single time in any of the hundreds of reviews I have done that I have ever mentiond a manual. Secondly, managing the heads is not intuitive at all. I am not saying it's difficu;t, but it certainly not intuitive... OK, I got that out my system, so here we go... This groomer is called "Body & Balls", and targeted to men. That said, I will keep this as family friendly as possible, and much as a heavyweight fighter, I will do my best to keep it "above the belt" (see what I did there?). So here is the deal, I am a pretty hairy dude. Like without appropriate groomoing, I would like a an early 80's Gym Teacher kind of hairy. So when this thing came up, I was lookong forward to getting it. Inside the box you'll find the head unit, a foil shave head, 2 adjustable combs and an "intamate" comb. You will also have a USB cable, the charger stand, carrying bag,and a nice attachment to reach your back. Again, without going IntO details, but everyhting worked as expected. For sure a multi-use manly grooming device. Two of my favorites are the back attachment. I decided to volentarily go bald when my wife went through 12 rounds of chemo. The back reacher dealio is really nice for managing hair on my back and neck. Another nice featurer is the LED white light on the heads. Helps you see the old skin and what needs trimmed. In all, other than the worthless manual and the less than intuitive head management, it's a great tool that does exactly what it's supposed to and it does it we..
