This is a very solid product, that up front, I’ll put my stamp of approval on. There’s maybe some room to improve, things I’d do differently, etc but up front, this gets a passing grade.
Out of the box, I was very pleased with the product. The packaging externally is sleek, modern, and minimalist. The interior is seemingly 100% recycled and recyclable products, all of which are such a no-brainer in 2025. Good on Phillips here.
Inside you’ll find the groomer with attached shave head, a charge base, usb charge cord, a back shaver extension, carrying pouch, a few other adjustment heads, and a very typical, comically large and dated instruction booklet which are very common for Phillips products.
My unit was not charged on arrival so I threw it on the base. The connection on the base just seemed a little… unique? It’s hard to describe, not anything bad but just seemed counter intuitive fwiw. This device has a quick charge feature which means that after 5min of charge, you should be good to go for a shave session. I haven’t used this long enough to drain the battery so I’m not sure how long that’d take but I believe I read it was 1.5ish hours of use.
The pro/con here is that there’s a light on the shaving device which is… modern and high tech compared to what your grandpa and dad used but nobody should be shaving in the dark so I’m not quite sure what purpose this serves besides maybe shedding light on some more… discrete areas. Unfortunately there’s no way to turn the light off so I’m sure it’s killing the charge faster than needed.
When it comes to use, this is very simple. It’s waterproof so go ham in the shower. I used the direct shave portion and while it took a few tries to get the angle right, it did a great job. I always was easily able to switch out the heads, clean them, and tried the intimate head for my… low hanging fruit. This was a close but very safe feeling shave. It’s hard to describe but I really enjoyed the safety, smoothness, and functionality here.
There’s also an aforementioned back shave attachment which basically acts as a 90 degree angle extender so you can shave your back. It’s smart, I’ve never seen it before. I don’t have a hairy back at all so I’d never use it nor could speak to how good of a job it’d do. It also just seems cheap as it’s a hollow piece of plastic, but I still set the extender up with the shave unit and pretended to use it and it seemed fine/plausible.
Lastly, there’s a new feature on here for my eyes, but it’s a travel lock. You hold the power button down for 5 seconds and it locks the power button so you can travel in peace knowing that you won’t arrive at your destination to find the shaver dead cause it got bumped once on the plane.
All said, this product shines with ease of use, no necessary additional app, a quick charge feature, lighting, and pure function.
There’s little to gripe about and nothing that really detracts from the device and for that, I’m excited to continue using and having a close and comfortable shave experience from a well known, eco friendly company. A big thumbs up from me.

I have been able to use the Philips Body Groomer for a while now and have been able to use it a few times and have been very pleased with it. In the box you get quite a bit of pieces. You get two main types of trimmer heads. First one being a regular clipper type head with comb guards. A sensitive area guard and an adjustable length comb guard. This allows for versatility when trimming different areas and different lengths. The other trimmer head is a the one you will use for smooth shaving it has a beard shaver foil like trimmer with a clipper like sides to help trim down longer hairs. Even though it does have the side clippers. I would recommend trimming the hair down first if it is really long. The side clippers on the shaver head is not that great at trimming longer hairs. So brothers if you got a forest down there you gonna have to knock down the forest before getting rid of it. Once it’s knocked down it works really well. I used it on my whole body. Stomach, back and sensitive areas. Didn’t have any issues. You do need to be careful but for the most part no issues with getting caught in the blades. I don’t have too much back hair if any, the extension arm does help get to those areas. It does really make it easier to be able to do the dead yourself. Few things I don’t like is that it uses a USB power block that is not included in the box. So you will have to have one or order one yourself in order to even use it. It also didn’t come charged I had to charge for about 5 minutes. But once it was that thing did a solid 20-30 minutes on that charge. So just a few things but overall a very solid unit.

Works Well and Easy to Keep Clean

I've been searching for a body groomer that could tackle my sensitive nether regions without the usual drama of irritation or accidental nicks, and the Philips Norelco Bodygroomer 7000 is the best option I have found. I love its dual-head setup that quickly and easily switches between trimming and that close foil shave. The adjustable combs make initial passes a breeze on more coarse longer hair, while the pivoting 2D flexing foil head truly shines for finishing touches. It’s not as smooth as using a more traditional razor but considering how easy and quick this body groomer is to use and how close of a shave it gives it is a more than fair tradeoff. I really love the built in light, it makes it so easy to see exactly what you are doing which brings about a certain peace of mind when you are trimming the most sensitive of sensitive spots.
The rest of the accessories and features are solid as well. The charging station has a small footprint and is easy to place the trimmer on and off. It charges fast and seems to hold the charge just fine. It works and is safe to use in the shower, though I think you get a little better trim if you use it when you first get in and keep the area more dry if you can. The variety of guards is suitable and clean up is super quick and easy. All in all I am (as is my girlfriend!) a big fan of this product.

Great device, wish it had a wider head

In general I love anything Philips Norelco makes, I've owned many and this just adds to the list. They last, work well and do all that I need them to do.
Packaging:
To start, packaging is straightforward, the razor itself, attachments, bag and charger. Limited documentation/care information.
Use:
It's an electric clipper, it does the job it's designed to do, I just feel like for the aim being to use on the body it should have a wider head if it's expected to do the job efficiently. I have a previous model that didn't have the same naming but is still a phillips norelco and came with multiple detachable combs that were designed for different areas of the body and it had a wider head which I found easier to use so really to me this is the only place it falls short.
Outside of that it does the job well, easy to use and clean.
Overall:
It's an electric clipper focused on the body, it gets the job done but has some minor shortcomings. All in all if you're in the market for such a set of clippers it's a worthwhile consideration.
