The Norelco CareTouch Shaver Series 3000 is a simple electric shaver with good battery life and features. Most importantly I get a great shave with it and it's smooth over my skin! Shave This razor gives me a great shave! I'm very happy with it. Running it over my face is very smooth. I don't use shaving cream, just some water, and it works great. The cut is very close, as good or better than any other shave I've had from a blade or a different electric razor. I also don't need to go over the same spot forever to get ever hair. I'm very happy with the shave! Design I had two issues with previous electric razors I had that this one does not have. One razor I had used a detachable top so you could swap out the blades with other attachments. The problem was, the top would sometimes come off while I was shaving. It got worse over time, happening more frequently. This one doesn't have that problem because the top does not detach. Secondly, one electric razor I had, had the power button in a place I where I would accidently press it while shaving, turning the razor off. This happened way too much and was a real pain. This razor has the power button in a good position so that I don't do that. I also like the rubberized grip around it and it's a comfortable weight. The integrated flip-up trimmer is a nice bonus. This razor also fits very comfortably in my hand and is easy to hold. Flip-Up Trimmer I don't do much trimming and for what I do this works well. It works for trimming my side-burns and the hair around my ears. It's too big to get in my nose or ears. I've used this type of trimmer before and had it flip back up when I was trying to use it. That only happens when you go in reverse, which I'm sure you're not supposed to do. This one seems more firm and hasn't done that yet. So far, it's convenient and effective. Battery Life and Display The CareTouch 3000 series is rated for 60 minutes of usage on a charge, which I think is very good. It uses a lithium ion battery so that helps keep the weight down. One electric razor I had only had a symbol that would light up when the power was low and it needed to be charged. I like to have an idea of where it's at so I can plan if I'm going to be away for the weekend or something and not just charge it if I'm not sure. This razor has three bars to show the battery level. When it gets down to 5 minutes of time left it will show an orange light. Ease of Use and Care There's just one button to turn it on and off. It's that simple. It's also easy to rinse out with the push-button pop-up top. The blades are to be replaced once a year. It uses SH30 blades.

Did not like these they were hard on my skin. Seem to pull rather than cut the hair

Loved everything about this shaver. Especially the battery level indicator and came with travel pouch to put it in. Highly recommended

It provides a clean cut but doesn’t seem to be as powerful as my last Norelco shaver.

Great shaver that is not overdone. Does a nice job and the charge lasts a couple of weeks at a time. Also like this model has a display that gives you an idea how long before it needs to be recharged (especially useful when traveling).

Great shaver, holds charge for a multiple uses, doesn’t pull on skin and has a large compartment for trimming collections so it doesn’t need emptied too frequently. Just as good as my last one I paid 3x the price for

We got this for our son. He finally shaved his Santa Clause beard with this razor and we are all very thankful. Battery life is good (it lasted long enough to shave his giant beard off).

I haven't had a shaver for about 50 years getting back to this shaver was great close shaves everytime no irritation at all when starting up.Pop-up trimmer works very well.I would recommend this shaver.

Works as expected and advertised. So far, battery seems to be holding it’s charge for at least a weeks worth of use.

So far so good. Shaving is good. Still getting use to it after I had another brand before this one. But so far I like it.

Good rotary at an excellent price point! I have been using a more expensive Philips rotary shaver for several years and thought this CareTouch would be a good one to keep in the car for those “running late” days to catch a shave in the car to work, or do a late afternoon “touch up” when work spilled over to the early evening hours. Much to my surprise, I really cannot tell the difference between the more expensive rotary and this “mid-range” rotary. I have recently sharpened the blades on the older rotary, so old vs. new blades is not the answer. The blade speed of this Philips seems the same as the more expensive model, the closeness seems the same, and both rotary shavers are wet/dry. With that said, if you are looking to see if an electric rotary might be something to try, this is a good choice to get you started. After that, if you want some extra “bells and whistles” by taking a step or two up in design features, you can move up to a high-end rotary if that is your desire. I predict that you will not feel the need to upgrade from this Philips, as it covers all the bases and does everything a rotary shaver should do – including giving a nice, close shave. The shaver feels nice in the hand, not too heavy, and is easy to keep clean with a quick rinse every day or two. The pop-up trimmer is an advantage over my more expensive rotary, as it is built in and doesn’t require swapping out the heads – which actually keeps me from using the trimmer as often as I could/should on my more expensive rotary. The only thing missing is a “stand up” charging stand, which would be nice but really more something I am used to – and definitely not a “deal breaker” that I cannot do without. I honestly have no complaints and do not see much if any reservations for using this CareTouch wet/dry rotary as my daily device. If I had gotten this rotary first, I don’t think I would be looking for anything fancier or more expensive. This nicely priced rotary does the job and leaves me with a good shave and no skin irritation. Stay Safe from Central Georgia!

Very long battery life. motor seems weaker than previous mode I had, but it gets the job done. I'm happy with it.
