Maybe its just me an electrics but I am one of those men that have to shave everyday. I have a five o clock shadow at noon. I bought this item because it says it have the bending neck technology and it said you can use it dry or wet. So I tried it for several weeks. It always left hairs on my neck! The annoying ones that stick out. The razor left marks all over my neck as well. A straight razor puts this thing to shame when it comes to the neck. For your cheeks it is fine, does what it needs to do, but once you get into any spot with a curve in your face good luck. Not worth the money to have to shave after using anyway.

I received my first Philips Norleco shaver in 1954 when I graduated from high school. A small white two-rotary bladed shaver that had to be plugged in; and it came in a leather case. I have been using Philips Norelco ever since. I have witnessed the generational changes from two rotary blades to three, the floating head, the adding of the trimmer to cordless. I have never been disappointed. I recently replaced a well used shaver for the 4100 and am as happy with the product as ever. Thanks Philips Norelco for never compromising the workmanship of your shaver.

I purchased this shaver for the waterproof compatibility. It does not have a very high rotation speed so it is not as efficient as I hoped.

This shaver is great, the waterproof is a plus as I can still use my shaving cream if I need to. The trimmer comes in handy when I don't feel like getting my face shaved completely (lazy days).

Have used a Norelco for years and have been very pleased with each model I have purchased. Don't think you could go wrong with this shaver.

Normally a straight edge razor user, but needed something for a quick shave when traveling. This served its purpose and was a close and comfortable shave.

This electric razor gets the job done quickly and efficiently. And the price couldn't be beat--it was even better than a well-known Internet retailer!

Seems like a good razor so far. Will see if it stands the test of time, but it works fine and I am satisfied with it.

Remember watching the Flintstones as a kid, and Fred would shave using a bunch of angry bees inside a clam shell? You'd get better results using that method than this product. After 4 days of use, my neck now resembles the surface of Mars, and is incredibly uncomfortable. I switched to this from a single bladed safety razer, so I know gentleness wasn't the issue. I wanted something fast and easy, and the speed with which my skin was destroyed certainly was impressive, and the process was fairly easy. The one thing I can say is that it was decently quiet.

I bought the 4100 because I felt razor blades were getting too expensive. That was a mistake. The shaver is underpowered for starters and that was a problem from the start. That ended up with me taking it back for a replacement which suffered from the same lack of power. The second shaver was no better than the first. Neither was the third or the fourth. At that point, I bought a Mach 3 and gave up. Shaving, as a whole, is a drudge and doing it with the 4100 is a waste of your money.
