Philps norelco is a good shaver for on the go. Charges quick and easy to clean.

My husband really likes this razor. Great shave. Quick charge.

I bought this mostly to keep my head shaved bald to avoid spending so much money going to the barber. The shave is not very close to the skin. It does a decent job keeping my beard cut low but I would not recommend it if you want a close to bald shave for your head.

I had my two previous philips razors both for 8 years each. I didn’t hesitate to by philips again. I am not disappointed and love how the head moves on this 5000 series. The turbo feature is great when I skip a day of shaving and the wet shave with gel is awesome and cooling.

First thing is it does take a week or so for your face to get used to a new razor. The only disadvantage to this product is you have to physically attach and detach the beard trimmer. For almost $100 is turned out to be a pretty good razor. I would recommend.

This Razor is great, I had a cheap electric razor for years, it finally broke and I decided to upgrade to this razor. I am very happy with how close of a shave I get, this razor makes shaving quicker and smoother than I've had in a long time.

Needed a replacement shaver when my old Norelco's battery died. This is fast and has a comfortable shave. I haven't tried it in the shower yet but it is a added bonus if it works as advertised.

Purchased this specific shaver for my father. He loves Phillips products and bought at great price on Black Friday. Easily charges and likes that fact it can be used dry or wet.

I bought this for my husband to likes to occasionally shave with an electric shaver. He seems to be pleased with it.

I usually shave with a safety razor only, but wanted something I could use quickly and on-the-go. The Norelco 5000 does a decent enough job on my beard and face but not so well on my neck. As an African-American, we often tend to have sensitive skin on our necks, and are prone to ingrown hairs. This electric doesn't do a very good job at keeping away razor bumps. I would recommend it only if you don't have sensitive skin.

I have used Norelco razors in the past, but this one is the smoothest, most efficient shaver I've ever used. Love it !

I've given Norelco chances before and haven't been pleased with the shave. This one is great though. I can finally shave every day with little irritation.

It seems like it just needs more power. Power button in a very bad location. When you hold the razor the power button is right in the way and always gets turned off.

I have been using a Panasonic razor for the last 5 years. Took a chance on this Norelco shaver and was very happy with the purchase. It just works great.

This is decent shaver for the money. I have had 4-5 in my senior lifetime. The only reason I gave the product 4 stars in lieu of 5 is A. There is a turbo mode which requires the user to turn it on then select an additional switch to activate it, rather than a single switch. B The product comes with a separate attachment for shaving the sideburns, which has to be added to and then removed to continue using the shaver. I find this cheap and inconvenient to the user.
