This razor really does the job for me! Pivoting heads hug my chin area and make shaving a breeze. Large surface area cuts my shave time in half. Battery power is excellent and it holds the charge for a while. I have had about 3 weeks and I still did not need to recharge. My beard is light and I usually shave 4-5 times per week. As for the trimmer add on, sorry I have not used yet so cannot comment fairly on this. You cannot shave with cord in, so when you run out of batteries, you need to charge a while to use. There is a lighted indicator showing power, so if you just check this each time you turn on, you will know exactly when to recharge. Really never had an opinion on a Philips product, but since this works so well I would be open to try some of their other products.

I was getting tired of shaving with an old fashioned razor and decided to go back to an electric shaver. After doing some research I came upon this one and haven't been disappointed yet! It's great to quickly and easily shave while I'm in the shower. This cuts close and smooth. Only downside is I wish it came with a cap cover.

Having used an Arcitec until the blades wouldn't stay on any longer, I have been impressed with this new model. It is quieter and smoother. I wish it had come with a charging stand. It does come with a charging cord and an attachment for trimming. I had to buy a travel case separately, but it doesn't fit the shaver exactly. The shaver is excellent.

Works great, great price, quiet and very close shave

Since using one of the most basic Phillips Norelco Series electric shavers, I was looking for a product that wouldn’t break the bank, irritate the sensitive skin that I have on my neck, and not hurt the wallet too bad. I’m proud to say that this Series 6000 checks all of the aforementioned boxes well! There is a notable difference between the time and the quality of the shave from this shaver to the one that I was using previously, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by it not irritating or nicking the skin on my neck (has a mode that reduces the possibility of irritating the skin). The few downsides that I see to this product is that I am not sure about long term durability due to the plastic pieces that swap out and something about the feeling of this shaver. I also find it a little ridiculous that there isn’t even an attempt at providing a little case or bag to store the shaver in, as the $20 Remington multi use trimmer did come with one. Overall, very happy with this product and would probably purchase the offered protection plan for piece of mind.

bought two for gifts for my sons. They have used them and love them. The wet and dry ability has been tested by both and passed with flying colors. The shave is close. First time in a while that both of my sons have actually looked like they owned a razor! I haven't used so cannot give 5 stars for functionality but can give 5 for a usable gift.

I purchased this Norelco to replace a very worn model from at least 12 years ago. This model is so smooth and quick for shaving my head when compared to the well-worn Norelco. Really enjoy the ability to use battery power again (old one worked only while plugged into outlet).

This is an awesome product and for a very reasonable price. My husband loves it as it's very light and manageable to use. Very easy to clean and the fact that it charges (rather than electric) is an extra bonus. I would definitely buy it again as an upcoming gift;

Great shaver for the price. I bought this for my son who just started needing to shave. For an intro shaver, it has performed well. Gives a good close shave without pulling hair. Battery seems to hold a charge well and so far have had no isssues.

Have used Norelco in the past but have been using the standard head razor for the last few years. When time to replace my old razor I went with the 6000. Glad I did. The three heads gives a clean, close shave. Razor is light, and so far no irritation.

I like this light weight shaver. It is a clean shave and gets into all those hard to cut places on my face & head. I use it daily both for my face and head since I’m bald. The only negative is the trimmer is a separate piece and not integrated into the shaver body like my old style.

This is the best Philips-Norelco electric shaver I have owned. Easy to use, clean, and a great smooth shave. Indicator lights let you know when to clean and status of charge. I’ve never had a smoother shave, as this shaver has given me. A great value for the price.

My dad likes it. Saying it is easier to use. The only concern is that there is no stand to put it. When you charge it, you can only leave it on the desk. And the accessory doesn't come with container or bag.

Works great when my face is wet. Has some friction when my face is dry and I try to glide it along my face to shave my hair. So I think it works best when my face is wet when I want to shave. Easy to use and the battery lasts me for a month before I charge it again.

Bought this as a present for my father. He loves it as he cannot use a regular razor anymore. Close shave and easy to use. Added bonus, he can use it to shave his head, too.

This product made shaving more comfortable and less time consuming. Its batteries lasts longer than a monthand its noise does not bother at all.

Very satisfied with this razor. It is very quiet and shaves great. I also like that I can rinse it off under water to keep it clean.
