Had great success with previous models in the e series from Philips. This model however has died after only 3 years. Very poor quality compared to the previous ones

After ordering on line for one hour pick up, ended up as a three day fiasco.

My dentist recommended for me to try a sonic toothbrush to help minimize the risk of gum disease. The one I purchased was perfect. It is easy to use and much better than a standard toothbrush. This toothbrush does a way better job than a standard toothbrush in getting to the hard to reach spots.

... beware manufacturer's coupon on Philips website. The printable coupon to use in-store does not work at BestBuy, even when it is listed on Philips website as authorised seller. Otherwise, it is great product. It comes with the soft bristled gum care brush head as described. You have the option to turn off or on the program allowing gently increase intensity of vibrations over the first 12 uses, to get used to it. It applies to all 3 settings of intensity (just read the short manual first). Battery is Li-Ion and it holds well - I have been using it every day without charging for a month and there is still no signs of need to charge. Well, to see how well it works on gum care, I have to wait for my next dental appointment and check up... I will let you know!

It took a bit of getting used to but the product works great and it looks like my teeth are cleaner then before. waiting for my next dental check up to see if there's any improvement...
