I received a used toothbrush???!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Normally, I have a good experience with Best Buy, but this was honestly very disappointing. The box seemed unopened, though it looked slightly worn, so I didn’t expect any issues. However, when I opened it, the package contained an Oral-B brush head and a broken, clearly used handle. On top of that, I don’t believe the model is actually the 9300, as it doesn’t even have the sensory light at the bottom. I’ll be returning this and would appreciate an explanation.

Dentist Quality Cleaning at Home
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. How smart can a “smart toothbrush” really be? That was my first thought when I got the Philips Sonicare 9300 DiamondClean Smart Electric, Rechargeable Toothbrush system. Well, that question was answered quickly and impressively with the 9300 smart toothbrush. This system connects the smart sensors on the toothbrush with the Sonicare app running on your phone and near real-time feedback and coaching for an incredible cleaning experience. In the Box: The 9300 ships with the Sonicare toothbrush handle, an A3 Premium All-in-One brush head, a 2-in-1 brush head, charging stand and glass, a travel case and a 2 year warranty. The packaging is well thought out and looks to be mostly recycled materials. Not completely sure why Philips includes the actual glass for holding the toothbrush as it sits on the charger just fine and can be put in a drawer, case, etc. I’m not going to complain though as it works well for rinsing…and the toothbrush even reminds me to rinse, more on that later in the app section. Set Up: The battery was just about fully charged, but I set up the charging stand and charged to full as recommended by Philips while reading the included manual. I also downloaded the Sonicare app at this point. Connecting the toothbrush to the app was a snap and only took a few minutes to go from unboxing to brushing. There are 4 modes on the toothbrush and the 2 included cleaning heads will align with specific cleaning mode selected. Installing the A3 AIO is as simple as sliding it on to the toothbrush body, that’s it. There are also 3 selectable power levels that work across the selected cleaning mode. After a bit of fiddling, I opted for the low power setting and the deep clean+ mode. Operation: In order to take advantage of the smart features the Sonicare app must be running on your phone. Once the toothbrush is turned on, the 2:00 minute timer starts and the app begins to guide you through the cleaning process on the display. At first, I just thought it was a recommendation, but quickly realized that the smart sensors are sending feedback to the app showing the areas that are being brushed…mind blown! I found it a bit difficult to follow the guided brushing at first, but after 2-3 uses it started to become more natural. The app has coached me to provide an additional 30 seconds of cleaning based on my actual cleaning accuracy. Once complete, the app asks if you have rinsed, cleaned your tongue and flossed. My dentist has told me to floss more, and it’s great that the app reminds me of this after each brushing. Overall Impressions: This is the first powered toothbrush that I’ve ever owned, so it’s been a bit of a chore to make sure to use it at every cleaning. I still find myself grabbing my regular toothbrush at night to quickly brush before bed. This is my own habit to create, and honestly since the 9300 is so easy to use, I see it being my go-to for years to come. The overall quality of the body and smart brushes are top-notch and it’s well balanced and easy to operate. The power button and mode selectors are well-marked and easy to understand. Changing the cleaning brush is also very easy, just pop one off and slide the other head on. I found the lowest mode to be more than adequate for my usage, and really don’t know that I would ever use the highest power mode. Even on low, it’s easy to feel the difference in cleaning that takes place vs. a standard toothbrush. Philips’ advanced sonic sweeping motion combined with the advanced cleaning brush heads provides a cleaning that feels like I just got out of the dentist’s chair! My teeth have never felt cleaner, and this is after just a week’s worth of usage. Pros: - Easy to recharge Li-ion battery and charging stand fits bathroom décor - Carry case for keeping toothbrush organized or for travel is a nice touch - Build quality is top-notch and looks modern and stylish - Coverage guidance through Sonicare app is a game changer for me - Teeth and gums have never felt more healthy and clean! - Pressure sensor light and haptic alert – dentist says I press to firmly Cons: - Grasping a bit for a con, but the case could use a more secure closure mechanism Overall, the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9300 Smart Rechargeable Toothbrush has been a welcome addition to my oral care process. It’s easy to use, has several smart features to coach the user towards better cleaning and is stylish and well built. I would certainly recommend this system for anyone looking to up their oral care game!

Noticeable improvements to the best toothbrush!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is simply a great toothbrush, improving on prior models by being easier to clean and charge, with a much nicer traveling case to boot. There’s a reason I keep using a Sonicare. They just do the best job cleaning teeth effectively and safely. More than rotary style options and certainly better than conventional toothbrushes. I’ve consistently used Sonicare toothbrushes for 20+ years and my near-perfect dental history proves just how good they are. This one is no different, at least in terms of effectiveness. The bristles really do clean deeper, almost flossing between teeth (though I do choose to floss as well.) What I like about this model is that it has an exterior without any recessed elements to collect grime. This was an issue on my last model, but this one cleans fully with a quick rinse. Modes Like many prior models, this has several levels of intensity and 4 modes (vibration patterns). I felt right at home and quickly landed on a setup that I liked. If you’re like me, you set and forget, with each brush head remembering your setting for the next time. It’s also probably the nicest looking toothbrush I’ve ever had too. The black color looks good anywhere, with a sleek design and soft touch finish. If applying too much pressure while brushing, lights will illuminate at the bottom of the handle. You’ll find that you’ll need to press fairly hard to get it to activate, but it’s good that it’s there for new users. I don’t find this much more useful than the small warning vibrations in my last model, but it’s good that it’s there. During proper use, you won’t encounter it much at all. Charging Glass. I wasn’t sure if I was interpreting this feature correctly when I first saw it. Charging glass? - Yep, it’s a glass with an induction charger underneath, and it’s great. Gone are the messy little corded-pucks that like to flip over on the counter, and in it’s place is a useful bathroom glass (for drinking water, etc) that doubles as the vessel to charge the brush handle in. It works as expected, with a thick glass that won’t easily be going anywhere. The cable running to the metallic base that goes under the glass is black, which I appreciated, as it goes well with our darker countertops and disappears. My only nit is that when it’s in the glass, it will also sit angled to the side. That doesn’t bother me much, but it feels a little less orderly than a toothbrush standing upright alongside other bathroom bottles and the like. Luckily, you really only have to charge your toothbrush once a week, so mine simply stays in the drawer most of the time. App A novelty or gimmick for sure. I can see why it was included, but beyond teaching newbies how to use the brush effectively, it doesn’t offer much value. Practically speaking, most people won’t want to open an app every time they want to brush their teeth only to micro-manage every aspect of the experience and that’s exactly what this app is all about - telling you to brush each part of your teeth in a particular order, then reminding you to rinse, floss, etc… Philips also claims to be able to identify where you’ve been focusing your brushing and what areas need work (presumably using internal accelerometer based on a lot of assumptions) I found the app never interpreted it right, telling me to focus on areas that got just as much attention as others. But why would you want this level of nagging anyway? Instead, I imagine most people will simply want to brush well and move on - possibly while using their phone to read or watch something more interesting. App aside, this Sonicare is great at getting teeth clean on its own. Overall though, with an easier to clean handle, an improved case (w/ a faux leather surface that feels nicer, more premium) as well as the novel charge glass - it’s great! It improves on the best and makes for a better product and daily use. Good Stuff: - Great quality, as usual. (More time will tell for sure, but prior models lasted many years.) - Easier to clean design, without nooks and crannies. - Effective and useful charge glass is a nice improvement to my counter space. - Amazingly good at getting teeth clean. - Sleek, black finish and classier travel case. Less than Good Stuff: - App is silly, doesn’t provide much value beyond initial education on use. - When charging, handle looks a bit haphazard sitting off-angle in the glass.

Diamond Clean
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After switching to another major brand toothbrush for almost a year, I wasn’t satisfied with the cleaning and was looking for something that could clean better. Having owned a variety of electric toothbrushes over the years, I always find myself coming back to Sonicare. The DiamnodClean Smart 9300 interested me in that it is brand I know and trust but offers additional functionality through automatic mode selection and brushing feedback both via the app and handle. Inside the box is the DiamondClean Smart 9300 handle, A3 brush, C3 brush, travel case, and charging base which can be used with the included glass cup or the clear plastic holder. The black finish is nice, though time will tell how it will fair after long exposure to white toothpaste. The Sonicare provides a great clean, as expected, offering 4 unique modes and 3 intensity settings with clean, white, gum health, and deep clean options. Though there are a variety of brush heads available, the two provided are versatile and clean well. On its own the handle adjusts modes based on the brush head, though you can easily change modes without needing the app. The Sonicare Smart 9300 also provides pressure feedback both visually with the light ring at the base of the handle and pulsing the brush head, to help prevent applying too much pressure. Though I am use to brushing based on four quadrants, the six section approach does help to keep you moving forward and evenly brushing all your teeth. The handle also detects brush changes and can change modes to match the brush head, while also tracking usage to alert you when it is time to replace. I prefer to not need my phone to brush my teeth, however, the DiamondClean Smart 9300 provides additional functionality should you pair it to your phone and the Sonicare app. Once paired, the app guides you through the brushing session with a nice visualization of your mouth and brushing progress. After it determines you brushed the area sufficiently, it guides you to the next section based on orientation of the handle. If you neglect any area based on this, it can guide you through a touch up session to ensure a complete clean. The app continually tracks your activity, making it easy to review historical data. Even if you forget to open the app during a brushing session, the app will sync with the handle next time you have it open in its proximity. Unfortunately, coverage visualizations aren’t recorded for sessions not done with the app open. Overall, the Smart 9300 is one of the best electric toothbrushes you can buy. Though missing some modes on more expensive models, it offers excellent cleaning and features that benefit people both familiar with Sonicare and those who are new to the renowned Sonicare clean.

Great toothbrush to build good habits
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone who had years of orthodontics and a parent of teenagers who are going through the same experience, oral care is a focus in our house. The Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9300 series toothbrush has made a world of difference in my teenage son's brushing habits. In the box is the toothbrush, 2 different styles of brush heads (complete and gum care), charging / rinse glass, charging base, and a travel case. You will also need to install the Philips Sonicare app, while not required, the companion app really makes this toothbrush effective in building good habits and improving brushing techniques. As far as operation, pick up brush and select one of the four methods (clean, white+, deep clean, or gum health) by cycling through using the push button on the handle, once a method is selected you can then select the intensity - low, med, high which is indicated by lights on the handle. After selecting the mode, the app visual will adjust accordingly and guide you through brushing. The app will highlight where you are brushing, what areas are left, pressure, speed/scrubbing alert, and total time remaining. The app will also track your brushing frequency, amount of pressure, scrubbing motions, and time spent to give an overall score and improvement feedback. The toothbrush is rechargeable, and charging is fast and easy, the base plugs into the wall, and the glass sits on top of the base. When charging, set the brush in the cup, at any angle with the bottom down, and it will charge. This is nice, as you don't have to worry about precise placement or making a mess, the cup can be used for rinsing, is washable, and the toothbrush rests in the cup at an angle that will allow any moisture to collect in the cup and not the countertop. Note that there are multiple types of brush heads, the app will recognize the type of brush head and will provide optimal combinations of intensity and mode based on the head type. The heads are replaceable, come in different varieties, and the lifespan is tracked, with the ability to reorder via the app if desired (see photo). While the toothbrush works well, is effective, the brush heads are the right level of softness, and the app is intuitive and works as expected, the primary reason for five stars is that I've tried almost all different toothbrushes, timers, and tips to get my 13 year old son to do a satisfactory job of brushing his teeth and haven't found success until this toothbrush. By leveraging the app guidance, brushing / speed / pressure app real-time feedback, and reminders, I've seen a visible reduction in the amount of plaque and the conditions of his gums have improved in just a week of use.

For healthier and optimal oral hygiene care.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Based on my personal experience, this Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart 9300 rechargeable electric toothbrush stands as my fourth one in a series of models that I've consistently used since 2014. Throughout this long period, Sonicare has become my exclusive choice for an electric smart toothbrush I rely on, always meeting my oral health expectations. It gives me the feeling that I have my own dental clinic as its cleaning shows a phenomenal outcome. Opting for the black color variant of this model this time truly adds a touch of elegance besides its sleep design. The premium quality of both the handle and the accessories justifies its higher price point. This 9300 model offers four distinct brushing modes (deep clean Plus, white Plus, gum health, and clean), but it regrettably lacks a tongue cleaning option. Also, it offers an adjustable brushing speed level to suit my preference. The pressure sensor feature detects excessive brushing force, protecting gum health, and refining the brushing technique. Utilizing the Sonicare app is imperative for accessing the illustrated brushing guide, ensuring optimal dental care. The app serves as an indispensable resource, providing guidance and alerts regarding brushing pressure. The handle can also display a warning light at the bottom of the handle as an indicator that the pressure level is too high. Moreover, the Sonicare app provides essential information regarding brush heads, replacements, and firmware updates. This model comes with no charging cable port option in the travel case which is disappointing since the only charging option is either using the charging glass or the base. The package includes one charging glass, one charging base, and two brush heads: 1 of the 2-in-1 for plaque removal and whitening, and one Premium All-in-One (A3) offering additional gum care benefits. In summary, based on my comprehensive experience, I confidently assert that Philips Sonicare remains unrivaled in its field, consistently delivering the desired results over years of use. It stands as an indispensable component of my daily dental hygiene routine, ensuring a confident, clean, and radiant smile. Battery life isn't a major concern for me since the handle of the toothbrush can last for up to two weeks on a single charge. However, I typically keep it in the charging glass, ensuring it remains consistently charged and ready for use whenever needed.

Easy, effective way to a cleaner mouth.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you feel like you could be doing a better job of keeping your teeth clean between dentist visits, then this might be what you are looking for. The app integration and light indicator at the base of toothbrush do an excellent job of keeping you aware of how you are doing during your teeth cleaning. I thought it was great that the Sonicare already came charged and ready to use right out of the box. You can start using it almost immediately after you have paired it to your phone. The entire process from unboxing to first cleaning took 5 minutes. The app does a fantastic job of counting down and showing you what region of your teeth, you need to focus on. It also does a wonderful job of letting you if you are moving the brush around too much, or if you are applying to much pressure. You get two brush heads, and I have been using the all-in-one for general cleaning and gum care. Once the initial cleaning is done, it notifies you that you should go back and touch up areas you might have missed or not spent enough time in. Once you have finished the app keeps a history of all your cleanings and how efficient you are. Letting you know when you move too much, or perhaps were too quick and should have spent more time cleaning. Honestly, one of my favorite things is the way it charges when not in use. There is a wireless charger that a small glass sits on top. When you are done you can use the glass to rinse your mouth, but when you are finished and ready to charge, you place the glass on the wireless charger and the toothbrush goes into the glass. There is no need to plug anything in or match up wireless connectors. It just works when it is sitting in the glass. Such a convenient way to charge something, I wish they had something similar for my phone. If you want to make your dentist less painful, and make sure that you are staying on top of keeping your gums and teeth clean between visits, then this would be a great tool to add to your routine. The app integration, variety of toothbrush heads, and easy charging all make for an easy and maybe even fun way to stay on top of your dental health. An easy recommendation.

Whole Mouth Cleaning System and Coach
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this Phillips Sonicare 9300 DiamondClean Smart toothbrush. It is designed to be used with the Sonicare App for the best experience. It has Bluetooth that syncs with the APP to guide you through the entire mouth cleaning process. I remember when I was a kid the teacher would give us a pink tablet once a year to use after we brushed our teeth. The tablet would turn the areas of my teeth pink where I was not brushing well. This toothbrush when synced with the App shows the same process. It tells you where to brush and how long. When the time is up it switches to a new area on the APP until my entire teeth was brushed. When I finished I could click on a tab to see if I was applying enough pressure and scrubbing enough. It was a great experience. My teeth bled a bit the first couple times I used the toothbrush. My teeth felt so clean after each use. After using it a couple days it felt just like I had had my teeth cleaned at the Dentist. My teeth are starting to look a bit whiter but not a lot yet. I am excited to see my teeth after more uses. I feel confident that my mouth is healthier. Once I finish brushing my teeth. The App reminds me to rinse, brush my tongue and floss. I have to click yes I have performed this task or No I did not before moving on to the next task. I love how this toothbrush has given me confidence that my mouth is the best it can be. I do not like the travel case that comes with it. It doesn’t seem to close as well as I would like. I worry about sanitation. The glass that comes with it is really heavy not a cheap glass. Another thing I do not like is the fact that to set up automatic replacement brushes sent to my home, I need to access Amazon. I do not use Amazon so I will need to find another place to purchase brush refills. I wish the box or user manual had a QR code to make it easier to download the APP. I had to search for it in the APP Store.

Great toothbrush with great features!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used several Sonicare toothbrushes over the years and have been very happy with all of the models I have used. Like the other models I have used, this toothbrush handles the most essential task of brushing your teeth really well. I love the brushing power you get from a Sonicare and it has helped keep my teeth clean and prevent cavities. Since using Sonicare, I would never go back to a traditional toothbrush. Along with brushing your teeth really well, this toothbrush has some added features and refinements that make it an excellent toothbrush! It comes with both a plastic stand and glass cup that it can be put in when you are done brushing. Both will charge the toothbrush. The glass cup is really nice because it should be easier to clean than the plastic charging stand, and it also looks more premium. As soon as I sit the toothbrush in the glass, the toothbrush beeps and starts charging. This toothbrush also comes with a travel case which feels premium and has two slots for toothbrush heads. It is great to have the travel case as it makes taking your brush on trips a breeze. This toothbrush has 4 cleaning modes and 3 brushing intensity settings. It also has the ability to communicate with the Philips Sonicare app, which provides feedback and tips on your brushing, as well as the ability to customize settings on the toothbrush. Overall, this toothbrush works really well and has a lot of nice features included. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a toothbrush that cleans well and offers a great experience!

Very nice, smart electric toothbrush.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the design of this version of the Philips electric toothbrush. The black color is a nice touch. I use it with the app and I love how it guides you on how long you should stay on each area of your mouth with brushing. Reminds me to slow down when brushing. Everything about this set is nice, from the toothbrush holder to the glass charging holder. I love that the design on the toothbrush is lighted and not actually embedded on the toothbrush because on my old Philips electric toothbrush, over time the words wore off. This design is excellent and looks like it will last a lot longer than my older one. The silver lined areas at the very bottom and where the toothbrush head can be replaced is a subtle but very sleek addition to this toothbrush. Have used it for over a week and I have not had to charge it. I didn't even charge it straight out of the box either. You also have two ways to charge. You can either charge it in the glass cup by putting it on top of the charging stand or the other glass charger. It just looks more elegant in glass. I love everything about this toothbrush and the new, improved design. I would definitely recommend this!

Better than most, but not perfect
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have another electric tooth brush from a different maker so this is my first Philips. It has 3,different settings including one the gums. While its it does a good job at cleaning, it does not leave my mouth with the feeling of well cleaned teeth as is has high bivration rather than rotation I am used to. It has 3 sttings with a different name but essentially I call them slow medium and fast this model comes 2 heads, charger dock and carrying case. The design is sleek and nice. It is very easy to use and clean. The head replacement are not cheap but easy to find. It is,not difficult to replelace the heads which have brush, sections: one circular and the other kind of triangular. One oscillating and the other rotes. It is definitely better than conventional th toothbrush but i am not sure as to how effective is in the long run. The battery las at least 4 days worth of regular brushes twice a day. There's an app with the basic function but as with everything it is another app to add to the phone so I dont use it. It is a good alternative to the manual toothbrush.

Best toothbrush ever
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this toothbrush as a gift... I have to tell you it is the best gift I have ever gotten. It doesn't amazing drop cleaning my teeth. It took a little getting used to, Compared to other electric toothbrushes that I've had in the past. The app is very handy as well... The only thing I wish that you could customize your actual mouth. Like mark off a spot if you're missing a tooth or have a cavity. But overall I would recommend this toothbrush to everyone.

December Dental Exam
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sonicare yhat I purchased in November 2024 is an excellent tool in maintaining strong, healthy teeth. My exam in December revealed no issues. I believe that with the daily care I follow with the Sonicare toothbrush, my teeth are cleaner, and there is no build-up of plaque. The automatic timer during brushing is a positive as this alerts me when to move to another area to clean. Excellent product!
