After my dental cleaning, my hygenist suggested I try an electric toothbrush to help more with the placque build-up. She said there was no need to invest alot until I could judge if I liked it or not. So I read the reviews for this brush and thought it was a good one to try. I've used it a little over a month now and I like it alot! I won't be sure if it is getting the plaque any better til my next 6 month checkup but I sure like the way it feels on my gums. I am older and the gums are so very important to take care of and this brush does a great job. I also like that it has an automatic 2 minute timer so I know I am not rushing the job. As far as I can tell, it looks like I'll need to change the 2 AA batteries once a month about the same time I replace the toothbrush head. I would definately recommend this brush to anyone trying an electric toothbrush for the 1st time.

works good for cleaning my teeth, however my teeth don't look as white and vibrant as with my previous toothbrush.

I didn't realize this had a timer so the first time it shut off, I thought I had hit the on/off button by mistake. Love that feature because I know that I have brushed my teeth the minimum time even when I'm in a hurry. And when I'm not in a hurry, I just press the button and continue brushing.

I've had sonicare toothbrushes for a long time now. In fact I've had this same brush for over 2 years in my travel kit. I've had to replace the batteries (AA) once, and I've taken multiple month-long trips. I bought it again as a Christmas gift for my wife as she has been envious of my having the travel version always packed and ready to go!

I am really impressed with how well this Kids Philips Sonicare Toothbrush works. I bought 3 of these for my kids for Christmas and can tell a big difference between these and the plain power toothbrushes from Wal-Mart. The only way these could be improved is if they came with rechargeable batteries, but for the price you can't beat it.

This toothbrush does not work that well. Manual cleaning has better reachability and can clean better. When I try to brush harder to reach areas, it is difficult to maneuver the toothbrush and the stick hits the teeth at a high frequency, quick unpleasant feeling. Also, the brush itself is somewhat on the hard side, not as claimed to be ultra soft. It hurts my gum when I push close to the gum area. I still use this electrical toothbrush, but do manual brushing afterward for harder to reach areas. In this way, the brush is fine.

This electric tooth brush is light weight and compact. Very good for travel. It is not very powerful.

I find it just as good as the more expensive products. Replacement brushes are less expensive than the more expensive models, and generic replacements work just fine. I use rechargable batteries which makes this an economical and portable option. Durable product.

This is a somewhat cheap option that will get ur teeth cleaned well but is already seeing some rust after one year...Also it's a battery eater.. I will go for a more expensive option with charging next time..

Online reviews stated that this toothbrush cleaned ok but not as well as an electronic one. That is correct because it doesn't have the same amount of power, but it does well enough. It has met my need for a travel toothbrush. Also I can use my Sonicare 2 heads with it.

If you have never tried one you may wish to consider this economy / entry level model. Note: it is just as powerful as its $$$$ cousins of the same brand. Some people do not like the vibration but the only way to know that is to try it. At under twenty dollars, there is a lot less to lose. Another reason to consider this, is for travel or work. If it gets stolen or left behind you won't cry as hard. Lastly, one of the common complaints I read about the rechargeable versions was that they "die", meaning that they no longer can be recharged. This one uses two, AA batteries and cleans just as well from my experience.

I travel to my daughters up in Vermont frequently and stay over 2- 3 nights. The Phillips Power Toothbrush works great. Easy to operate and pack in the luggage...............Lots better than an old fashioned toothbrush.................jack

I love this thing. It feels the same as the more expensive sonicare models. I use rechargeable batteries, and the cost of brush replacement is relatively low. A great product, especially for travel.
