It burns through batteries at break neck speed (first set lasted 3 days with sporadic use on auto record). The instructions are a bit unclear because the functions don't always match up to what the unit itself displays. Lastly, the unit doe not work at all with my PC The pc does not even recognize it regardless of whether or not it is turned on or off.
