I bought this for my wife, who would exclaim how much she hated waking up every morning and act like a zombie. It wasn't really my cup of tea either, so I thought we could both use this light as an opportunity to start the day off on a better foot. She loves it! I however have developed the habit of hiding under the covers subconsciously, making the wake up light a moot point...

I had the hardest time waking up in the mornings if the sun wasnt up! I bought this light & honestly it worked amazingly! The first morning I used it I was convinced i woke up late & the sun had risen but it was just the light working its magic! It has definitely made waking up when its still dark out a million times easier. Even on days I have to be up at 2 or 3am, using the light makes a world of a difference. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who has issues waking up before the sun!

Great product with a lot of great features. It also serves as a light and a radio. I love the turn off light feature that can be set to automatically turn off from 15-60 minutes before bedtime.

The unit works well overall. My only complaint is the interface to set the time and alarms--somewhat complicated at first.

The light is pretty bright itself but my one gripe with the alarm clock is the lack of alarm clock noises. It also is not very intuitive.

Overall a great idea. Most of the summer i wake to the sunrise. Now that days are getting short and 5:30 am is hard to get up to when it is still pitch dark. The wake up light does what it is supposed to do and I've been waking before the alarm. However I am putting my head under the pillow hiding from the brightness....!

This will change how you wake up - instead of jolting up to the alarm noise (or even radio), the light starts to glow and increasingly gets brighter until max brightness at your set alarm time. There are a few different audio options as well, all pretty soothing, and the volume slowly fades in as well. Now, I'm not saying you still won't hit snooze 5 times.. but I found myself hitting snooze and peacefully relaxing in bed, instead of passing out again 3 or 4 times. The only disappointments: - limited number of audio alarm options - would be nice to connect to the HUE app (all settings are manual)

It is a great idea and works 50% at waking me with light rather than the sound. However, I find I often cover my head with the pillow or blankets. When I don't the simulated sunlight helps me feel less groggy now that mornings are dark.

It was extremely easy to replace my existing therapy light with the Philips Wake-Up Light. Setup was a breeze, the controls are intuitive and it looks great on my bedside table. I was also surprised to find out the sunset simulation feature actually worked (for me). I would definitely recommend this product (or light therapy in general) to anyone that has trouble falling asleep or waking up in the morning.

A few more choices for audio, and a little more audio volume would be better.

The light helps with waking up with out the sun. It will simulate a sun rise and set. This helps for those of us who unfortunately have to wake up before the sun throwing off our nature circadian rhythm.

I love this for waking up in the morning. I still need my phone alarm to really wake up but the light makes it less jolting. I do wish there was a way to set sound effects for going to sleep.

No more waking up with an annoying alarm. It's wonderful to do the snoozing on the front side of getting out of bed. Would be 5 stars except for the bright clock and somewhat complicated operation.

Well I'm not much of a morning person that wakes easily during hours of darkness. When the sun rises I rise. For that reason, I thought this would be a great solution to help me get going in the morning. I'm still adjusting to it and getting the brightness where it needs to be, but between the soothing sounds and the light itself, I think it's a winner.

Bought to combat winter blues. Though says to put on night table, installed on hope chest in front of window through which morning light comes in. Slow lighting to mimic sunrise is great! Programming for alarm takes a little getting use to. Set mine to bird twitter, since that's what I have during warmer months. Recommend.

The light works well. I was afraid it wouldn't wake me up but it does. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that the buttons are so small and hard to read.

It's certainly expensive and for the money needs to have better controls, but it's helpful to wake up to the light prior to the alarm going off.

Wake up peacefully. Decent build quality. 4 stars because some may find it intimidating to program, otherwise a great product.

Product works perfectly. Really help me wake up in the mornings. I would like to have the ability to set the alarm to only go off on weekdays, and the buttons could be clearly labeled from the front or have a better method of identifying them by touch.

It is a nice device, and does the things it claims....I have a real hard time waking up, it didn't make much of a differ nice for me.
