I was skeptical at first but it really does work well. Usually wake up just from the light that it gives off after about 15mins of increasing brightness.

This product is really good. I wanted a mellow method for waking up in the morning, and it is doing a great job. Soft light works much better than a harsh sounding alarm.

Is it overpriced yes is it elegant yes does it work definitely . It should definitely be under $100 but with that said it works and there's nothing else out there that does what this does so the price point I guess it's justifiable

Helps me waking up in the morning. It's really neat how gradually gets brighter and gently wakes me up.

I wanted to get a device that would "slowly" wake me up early in the morning. I didn't want the blaring of an alarm buzzer. I wanted something like a soft sunrise of light, and this device did that perfectly.

I have been researching this for the bulk of 2016 and I am very pleased with my purchase. The set up was detailed, but everything works as it should and I do not miss the old phone alarm.

I love this alarm clock. I love waking up and having light in my room and not darkness. It's easy to use and the light intensity can be adjusted to suit your needs.

Natural bright light to wake you up. It's still going strong after 4 years of use. I wish it has Bluetooth though.

Does make waking up easier although a little difficult to use the knobs.

At times, I would have to be sedated to sleep. Previously, waking up in the morning would be so difficult when I used a standard alarm clock or a cellular phone. I would not feel refreshed nor rested. With the Philips Wake Up Alarm clock, it is still a bit difficult to wake up but at least I feel refreshed and rested. Especially, I do not wake up to this noise: BWAMP! BWAMP! BWAMP! BWAMP! BWAMP! BWAMP! BWAMP! BWAMP! BWAMP! BWAMP! BWAMP! BWAMP! I recommend this alarm clock.

The alarm clock is actually really nice, but it wasn't for me. Worked super well to light up the room and there were instances where I woke up naturally before the alarm went off. The light was bright and customizable enough so you can have the settings you want.

I originally set these up for a 30 minute sunrise, but I woke up so quickly that I adjusted the time. It's a great way to wake up.

I have had no problems waking up to this item. It really does work. The only issue I have is that there is not a battery back up. I wish someone would have mentioned that in their reviews.
