If you’re not really into fancy things or being a fancy person then you may not want it. after running the uv light, the water tastes really clean. I would trust it with tap water but nothing beyond that. A uv light can only do so much. It also keeps water cold for a really long time. I was using a plastic Gatorade water bottle at home but I wanted something that doesn’t leach chemicals into my water. One thing to note, you’ll never see the light working. The indicator at the top tells you if the light is on, but you can’t unscrew the top and see it for yourself, as unscrewing the lid will trigger it to turn the light off. I thought something was wrong with it at first because every time I tried to turn the light on to see it working, it wasn’t on the bottle and therefore wouldn’t turn on. The battery lasts a LONG time. It’s been almost a month. I use the cleaning function 5-6 times a day and I’ve only charged the battery once when it was brand new. This last thing is my preference only, but I hate drinking from the big canteen opening at the top. I wish there was an interchangeable drinking spout lid. So once you’re done cleaning the water, you could then unscrew the light top and screw on the drinking top. That would make this bottle 100% perfect.

I wish there was an audible sound that will let you know it’s done cleaning. A simple one beep is fine and it doesn’t have to be loud either. Also I wish there was also a fast clean and extra clean option like Larq bottles. Also, I wish the bottle cap was waterproof.
