Great movie!

This is one of Darren Aronofsky's first films and was done on a rather low budget. I don't know why it's black and white, but it doesn't take away from the film. This movie has a twisted and intriguing plot that makes you think. This is a brilliant film, I highly recommend it! Also, some of Aronofsky's other great films are The Fountain, Requiem for a Dream, and The Wrestler.

The work contains compelling characters and story that will keep you watching. It doesn't have the special effects of a summer blockbuster but it certainly doesn't need them. This is pure filmmaking at it's core.
