Many interactive features.. When playing along with the online apps.. the toy responds to the app via Bluetooth .. very innovative and fun!!

I bought him as a shower gift for a friend. He's a nightlight. He's a speaker. He's an educational app/toy. But my bigger kids and I fell in love with him, so we got one too. My 8-year old uses him as a nightlight. I like to listen to my music while taking my bubble bath, or bring him with me in the car for tunes or audiobooks. We even plan to use him for our tunes this next summer while we play in the pool. He's just fun!

The product is well designed and quality is great. I got it for my son and BestBuy had a great discount during ThanksGiving. The best part of this product is you can always play the music/songs that your kid likes using mobile app. Which works great most of the time. I had issues with the PreSchool app which sometimes doesn't find the Edwin. I switch on the low light and play the template sound which helps my son to go to sleep. I also use it for checking the temperature of the water before putting my son in bath tub. The battery last almost 12-14 hours, I keep the music on for entire night. Sometime in night I switch on the low light to see he is ok in crib.

Don't buy this overpriced toy unless you have Apple products that the app can run on, Android had a broken unsupported app. Overpriced for what you get. Story is below. So I've been eyeballing Edwin the Duck for my two year old for quite a while, got a great deal on it, was happy with everything when I got it home, she loved it so I figure let's get him set up on her Samsung tablet so she can really have some fun with him. Load up the tablet which runs on OS 4.4.2 which is supported according to the manufactures website, download his app, connect him via Bluetooth and then the issue starts, for some reason it can't detect him so I keep trying, it's just not working. I figure let me try on my Moto G4 which runs Android 6.0.1, same issue so I start looking up reviews and apparently this has been an ongoing issue with Android devices and it seems the makers of Edwin just aren't too worried about it considering how well the iPhone/iPad version of the app runs and is supported compared to the obviously not working Android version. From what I read it barely had any activities or songs on it whereas the iPhone/iPad app has new activities being added all the time. Contacted their support email, got a canned message back, decided it was better to just return Edwin and find a product that actually works as advertised. I wouldn't waste my time either way, company has barely there support which doesn't bode well if there are other issues beyond what I experienced.

Gift for granddaughter (2 year old). I'd give it 5 stars if the supporting app had more content. Content is very limited, but states more on the way soon.

Gave this as a gift and was lucky enough to see it in action. How fun!! My favorite thing is the little heartbeat that's on all the time. Super soft and easily interactive once you install on your phone. Lot's yet to learn but the baby and the bigger kids loved playing with it. Great idea for families!

I bought two of these for my year-old grandsons. They're a little too young, but they do enjoy chewing on them. While they enjoy watching them and playing with them in the tub, they don't quite get it yet. Edwin is better for older children. Also one of them (Edwin) quit charging after only a few months. I also think they need more songs and games. We'll see how good the warranty is.

To enjoy this duck with your child you need a device with iOS on it. There are apps on the Android but only one of them works. If you have a Windows phone (like I do) there are no apps. You need an iPhone to take advantage of playing your own music. Otherwise you are mostly stuck with the light up feature and quacking with tapping the side of the duck. With android you can still make the duck play some sounds and use a few features but it feels watered down compared to the potential this product has. My son still loves it so that is the important part. I almost returned it, but he likes it so I'm keeping it. I'd recommend it to a friend but only if they have an Apple device to use it fully.

We bought this for our 9 month old daughter for Christmas and out of the box she loved him. Simple to set up, easy to charge. If using for water proof speaker have to connect via Bluetooth instead of Edwin app. Overall my wife and I are impressed, this is no ordaniry rubber duck!!Checks water temp along with cute sounds indicating if water is too hot or to cold, play lulubys, enter disco mode(Edwin's head flashs through multiple colors)interact with app, and a waterproof speaker. I highly recommend bath time will never be the same!!?

This durable little guy is a nice, simple upgrade from the rubber duckies of old. Just the fact that it lights up, plays music via bluetooth, and has intetactive games make this a great addition to any little ones toy chest!

Purchased this as a gift for a toddler and I am sure it is well loved. I am unsure how the water resistance and the electrical insulation works in conjuction, but advertised to work in the tub. It is hard to fathom a kid who knows how to use a smartphone/tablet also wanting to still play with a rubber duck at bathtime, but times have changed... new generation, new toys to fit every individual.

My kids are 2 and 4 and they both love this duck. The two year old loves listening to music in the bath tub and the 4 year old loves using the toy while playing in the app.

My daughter loved this toy. Between the lights, sounds, and the app that goes with it, it will keep a baby or toddler entertained for a while.

For now my son can't use all the features of it, he's 7months old. He won't be able to use iPad until later.stages. He loves to play it during bath time. Great light and sound.

I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter who is an Ipad nut but it has ended up just as much in the hands of my 5 month old granddaughter. The little one loves the lights and music and the softness of the duck. My only disappointment is that my older granddaughter has an Ipad too and cannot get as many apps. This works far better with a newer generation Ipad.

My two littlest ages 1 and 3 love Edwin. Edwin provides music at bath time and soothing lullabies at bedtime as well a soft glow which provides a comforting nightlight.

Bought this as a birthday gift for a 1yr old. From what I hear the kid LOVES that the duck makes sounds and lights up. It sounds really cool by other reviews also.
