If you are a Picross fan or just looking for an excellent puzzle game, this is the game for you. It builds upon the original 2D experience by adding the 3rd dimension, which in turn makes for a slightly more difficult challenge. Of course, any seasoned puzzle gamer will welcome this added level of difficulty. You'll be hooked from the moment you start playing!

It'd be easy to presume Picross 3D is just a simple, block-busting puzzle game at first glance. However, for all its seeming simplicity, this game has never felt repetitive since I started playing it. I credit this to the fact that, because the subjects are so diverse, the logical approach to each puzzle is never the same. The different game-play modes (timed, one-chance, construction) also keep the game-play interesting. Picross 3D is as entertaining as it is mentally stimulating.

Amazing game and a great take off of the original. The tutorials at the beginning are mandatory and seem to go a little slow; however, they really do explain how to play and are necessary to understand the rules. Everytime I pick it up I can't play just one game - it's hard to put down. I would recommend this for puzzle lovers of all ages... my mom and I are constantly competing over time with the DS after getting this game.

This game is highly addicting. It has a very strong "I'll just play one more puzzle" aspect to it. Actually, it's ironic that I got the e-mail today inviting me to write a review about Picross 3d as I just spent the better part of my morning playing it :) I like how the game takes you through all the rules of the game, one step at a time. It makes it easy for anyone to learn how to play. There are only 2 things I don't like about this game: 1. You can't pick your difficulty right off. Sure, I need to start off with some easy puzzles to get the hang of it, but it would be nice to be able to switch to the next level without having to do all the easy puzzles first. Not too big of a deal, though. 2. Some of the puzzles I can't for the life of me tell what it is until it's finished and the color is added. That's more of a problem with the early puzzles, and really, I don't care so much what the puzzle is, I just like solving it, so it's really not too big of a problem. I haven't done so yet, but I've heard there are extra puzzles available to download from nintendo. A nice plus. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys puzzles.

I am a huge fan of the original Picross and it was the reason why I got a Nintendo DS in the first place. When I heard of Picross 3D I was intrigued at how they were taking it to a new level. It took some time in the beginning to get used to the sliders and rotating the cube to figure out the shapes but once you get over the hump, you'll dive right in. I like the set up of the multiplayer and wireless download options here but some of the graphics could use some work. I recommend this game if you liked the original Picross.

I bought this for my youngest son and he has enjoyed it form day 1. It's complicated enough that he can't beat it right away but not so that he loses interest in it. He has mastered many levels and still has many to go. I wish they would make more games like these instead of the knock down drag em out shoot em up stuff they keep pushing.

This is a great game for people that like logic. Probably best suited for adults, the children in my life didn't find it much fun (they are sixth and eighth grade.) I find it relaxing to play in the evening before bed. Quite a challenge though!

Was a gift for my wife for Christmas. She hasn't stopped playing yet.
