This is a good guide to have to accompany the game. Although there is a few things missing for missions and extra curricular activities, it’s definitely a must have to figure out everything that is possible in the game.

First off, I loved the original Red Dead Redemption. I'm not sure what happened here. Maybe it is the complexity of the game, maybe it is just that it is strikingly different from the original. Maybe my expectations were simply to high. Not that it isn't fun, it just didn't capture me and hold on to me like the original.

I bought this guide after completing the story mode for RDR2. Now I will be going back and playing it again with the help of this guide. There are so many things I missed my first play-through.

A Great Guide for a great game. Unless you have nothing to do with the rest of your life besides play video games, the guide is a must to get full enjoyment out of the game.

(Note: I have completed the main story and both epilogues). My first impression of RDR2 was rather negative. The cadence, emphasis and rhythm of the dialog in the initial opening sequence is bewildering, particularly on the part of Dutch. Hard to explain unless you experience it, but it really left a bad impression for me. Don't know what R* was thinking. Anyway, it does get better, yet RDR2 never quite seems to live up to the wonder of the original. A point that applies to many sequels, I suppose, regardless of media. With the original, there was a stronger connection with John than there was with Arthur in RDR2. Due to the fact, I believe, that John was really making an effort to reform, earn freedom, and support his family. Arthur in RDR2 is just a gang member, though he does evolve into a more likable and honorable character as the story progresses, so I did find that connection growing stronger. Game play was solid. Graphics seemed to have an "old west" filter on them that seemed to dilute things a bit, but still very well done. All in all, well worth the time and money, but I was hoping for some of that magic I felt with the original.

Canr imagine getting through all the side challenges without this. Helps get you to the area you need to find things.
