Great clips but needed more songs great dvd but was expecting it to be better

Pink Floyd plays some classics from their catalogue in an abandoned Pompeiian coliseum. I mean, come on, it's the Floyd! I bought this solely for the live version of Echoes which is just incredible. The rest is good, too, and the band are a clever bunch. I'd say get it, especially if you're a fan. I don't think the director's cut is any good but the disk includes the original so you have the choice.

This is a great document of the greatness of Pink Floyd's early days. This concert allows you to experience what it would have been to see Pink Floyd up close in those days, with a great selection of fan favorites and some of their more psychedelic material from the very early days. Both the original and the newer director's cut are included; I would strongly recommend the original cut over the director's cut, that includes some weird expanded material that at points seems out of place.

Gotta love the early Floyd music! I haven't seen this video in years - I like the concept of a no audience concert and the camera work from behind the amps labeled "Pink Floyd London." Not too crazy about the Director's Cut though - I prefer the original release which is also included on this DVD.

This is a great historical rendering from the core quartet of Pink Floyd (Waters, Gilmour, Wright, Mason). Famous performance and hehearsal run-through in a very famous location.

For a live concert with no audience these guys really shine. Nice to see Dark Side of the Moon being created in the studio.

This is a decent breakdown of some Pink Floyd songs. I would also recommend The story of Wish You Were Here.

Very poor, waste of time to watch, dont see why they made the video, I dont advise getting it, get The Delicate Sound of Thunder, it is very good dvd.

Loved the dvd brought back memories of the past. I'm a pink Floyd fan from way back.

This movie shows Floyd playing songs, from their Meddle album, live in a Roman outdoor coliseum. It also has in studio scenes during their taping of Dark Side of the Moon.

If you love Pink Floyd , Than get this DVD its GREAT:)

Great to see Pink Floyd in concert. Wish there were more in Blu-Ray or UHD.

I'm glad they had the original concert on this disc. I don't really like the directors cut.

A great concert to watch with a good stereo system it put you there

This was produced long before the fancy cameras and editing programs. The music was incredible and a good prequel to any Pink Floyd fan's journey. Again, very old school and a tad distracting.

Great classic stuff here. I love Echoes, One Of These Days, and Careful With That Axe Eugene.

If your a Pink Floyd fan, you have to have it in your collection! Classic
