I have had Dazzle products for a long time back to windows XP days.. but I needed to transfer some more videos and my old Dazzles did not have drivers for newer computers... so I looked around and this was really about the only thing I could find.. works just as good as the old ones did.. I did buy Pinnacle Studio instead of using software that came with it. Hardware Gets a A, but the software only a B, save often and you never know when it will crash out.

Works great..I was able to also use this to capture directly into Adobe Premiere Elements and Pro. Great Buy!

You simply cannot beat Pinnacle's product here. I needed to get several old VCR tapes digitized, and this did the trick very easily. It captured the video as MPG, and then with the s/w I could make full movies with titles, etc. After that I was able to export/save it further in standard DVD format, or MP4 for Apple devices. Definitely recommend if you need to get old tapes into DVD for safer and longer lasting storage.

Love how this works. I always have to try multiple items before getting what I need, bit this performed perfectly. Exactly what you need to pass video through the computer.

We travel a lot and needed a direct wireless, compact printer. The Epson works exactly as stated on the box, and is super easy to use. Great product.

The recorder is fairly easy to install and configure on Windows 8.1 Pro with minor patching required. It perfectly captures 240p gameplay video from a Sharp Twin Famicom and captures the sound as well. It can capture the video through the composite cords of a Sony PlayStation 3, but does not capture sound. Additional implements are required to capture the sound from a PS3.

I bought this based upon the recommendation of a tech savvy friend & am completely satisfied so far. I'm using this to convert camcorder & VHS tapes to digital media for editing, storage & sharing. It was easy to set-up on Windows 7. There should be no hassles for anyone with software installation experience. Then the device essentially become plug-in, connect the source device & start the capture & play process. To date I've capture 50+ hours with out hassles. I haven't started the editing process using the included software, but it looks like it has plenty of features for most users. There also appears to be a fair amount of Youtube videos & other resources to help a person become adept at editing.

I especially like the automatic scene detection feature. Usage is fairly straightforward. The user manual seems to have been written for Pinnacle Studio and doesn't quite match actual usage.

I purchased and used this unit to record some old VHS tapes to digital copies. Overall, it worked well. The included Pinnacle software was sufficient enough to record and do basic editing. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to get rid of their VCR and old tapes. I am giving it four stars as the software could be a little bit better.

The dazzle device is easy to connect to you VCR and computer. The software is also easy to install. It only took about ten minutes from opening the box to start converting videos, I had hours of videos to convert. Since the conversion rate is one-to-one it took several full weekends to convert all my videos

Dazzle is a great tool to capture video from a VCR and transfer it to your computer. The Pinnacle software included was a little difficult to learn but provided good results.

Simple and easy tool for converting Hi8 to digital.
