Good reciver for the cost.the only drawback is missing a separate plug input on the reciver to plug in a powered subwoofer

Running all devices through this receiver. Very easy to use, great sound and video quality.

it is starting to have some issues. it just shuts off randomly and has to be turned back on. called the installation tech and waiting on a return call.

Highly recommend this pioneer theater receiver. Great quality.

I bought this unit to replace a Pioneer VSX-31 that the HDMI board failed. This unit has two HDMI outputs that allows two TV's to be connected to my Dish Network receiver. The HDMI outputs drop the signal and the receiver has to be cycled off and on to restore the signal. Pioneer seems to have issues with their HDMI boards. There are only two digital inputs, a coaxial and a optical and they are not able to be assigned to any input, only those that show up in the menu that have a digital option, such as the DVD input. This limits the flexibility with older components such as a DVHS or a LD player. This receiver is not HDCP 2.2 compatible but that is not a issue in my family room. I would not recommend this receiver for your home theater.

I'm not sure how to compare this to other receivers I'm new to the hi fi sound systems. I got this to play Bowers and Wilkins center speaker and two towers and it works fine

Good quality receiver that is a little hard to figure out with controls. Overall very good.

Plenty of juice and and control my whole entertainment system with hdmi, setup was easy enough for my wife to setup by herself

This receiver has many wonderful features especially for sound combinations depending upon the type of program, Blu Ray or CD.

Have this receiver paired up with my Bowers & Wilkins speakers and the two together work great! Only negative to the receiver is that in order to capitalize on the internet capabilities you will need to supply your own adapter. I paired it up with an Airport Express since I already had one in the house. Airplay option with my apple products works great!

Dual zone, 7.1 easy comfiguration what else could i have asked for.

go to one the Best Buys Magnolia Home Theater show rooms for the knowledge and experience on selecting your devices. Also I highly recommend the GEEK SQUAD for setting up this receiver. This not a plug-in and turn on receiver. It has very advanced technology and technical experience is required. I'm very happy with it and would purchase again.

Owners manual is overly complicated with directions going back and forth from page to page. Am using with other brands of equipment that don't seem to be compatible.
