This is the best receiver ever comparing with its competitors. High volume, no distortion, easy to,set up. I finally found this after 2 returns. Thank you.
I definitely recommend this product.

This is a very nice receiver with a lot of features. I recommend downloading the manual before you purchase it so you can be familiar with it. There is no printed manual included - just a quick start guide. You'll probably want to use the AVNavigator software for the setup so if you have an iPad get the iControlAV5 software app first.
The app is very very slick and makes up for the lack of printed manual and the very dated GUI (not that I use the actual OSD GUI often). It's a lot of fun to 'geek out on'. The physical remote is very cluttered. I wish they'd have left most of the bottom third buttons off. I don't see a need for a number pad.
It's too bad wifi isn't built in. That adds a bit to the cost if you don't have an etthernet cable in your living room/home theater room.
I probably won't use the MultiRoom feature but it's cool.
The sound is fantastic. The MCACC EQ seems to work well. Happy I got it. Probably could have done just as well with the VSX-1124k but always wanted an Elite and this one has a little better warranty so I went for it. There is some tough competition at this price range but I have no regrets.
