I already had a 12 inch Kicker Comp VR in a sealed box in my trunk. I pulled it and installed this Pioneer just to see what the difference was. I must say that I didn't realize how bad the sound quality of the Comp VR was until installing this Pioneer sub.

Great sounding sub

Suddenly stopped working but Amp was fine. Might just be a defective unit. Came in for an exchange with the same model and they gladly did it with no hesitation.
