Caught this on clearance for a good enough price to buy it when I had no need for it. I already had a 12 inch Kicker Comp VR in a sealed box in my trunk. I pulled it and installed this Pioneer just to see what the difference was. I must say that I didn't realize how bad the sound quality of the Comp VR was until installing this Pioneer sub.

Got this on clearance for $30. Build is basic like any other entry level sub out there but it performs more than what I needed it for.

First purchase for some reason only lasted me less than a week, less than 10 hours of use. Suddenly stopped working but Amp was fine. Might just be a defective unit. Came in for an exchange with the same model and they gladly did it with no hesitation.
