So far I am very happy with this purchase. This was the lowest price I found on the Internet. Setup was easy with the app.

It has more features than I'll probably ever use. Haven't gotten the cassette tape deck to work with it yet, but I'll get to figuring out the wiring. It was easier when things were labeled "play" and "record" vs. input and output. Haven't used the remote yet.

Overall its decent for its price and gets the job done. Bluetooth on my unit that is in an open space has a very limited bluetooth distance.

Better than receivers of 20 years ago. FM sounds like cd music. You can hookup many different things to the receiver. I am still experimenting with the unit. So far so good. THANKS.

This is a excellent receiver. I have a CD player, cassette player, as phonograph record player and a reel to reel tape player connected. It performs wonderfully.

Not sure what the deal was because when I ordered it the screen said it would be delivered in 3 days. One month later I got a call from someone in another state and left a message about some delay, and then another 3 weeks or so later it arrived. ODD!!!

After one of the amplifiers in my Pioneer VSX DR-1 blew-out, I reviewed a variety of 2 Channel receivers to power our CD and phono thru our MartinLogan Montage speakers. Didn’t need nor want a TV system … wanted high-quality stereo music reproduction. If you needs are similar, you won’t be disappointed with this system!

I relied on the advice of Brian at the Chesterfield Valley store. This is a replacement receiver for a Kenwood system and it is doing a great job!

I picked this up today as it arrived at my local Best Buy after I placed my order there a few days ago.
First impressions are that this is a quality piece of audio equipment and after at least a couple of weeks I shall do a follow up review. Pandora One was easy to set up but I need to remember my SiriusXM info before I can get that going. Bluetooth from all three laptop PCs is fine and I will be trying out the DLNA feature too. I will test out the Mac later on to see how it does. I downloaded the SX-N30 application to my Android phone and so far it's as handy as the one for my Onkyo receiver.
I need to check out the rest of the receiver with my CD players and both turntables. I will also look into the ease of use in finding and saving internet radio stations. This is a cursory review but so far I am pleased.

Purchased for primarily radio an CD listening. Have not tried the WI FI. The component build may throw out more heat but an integrated amplifier will drop out or burn up. The stereo receiver has an excellent tuner an sound quality. Has the nice bass and treble knobs. It looks like a copy of the Integra. It has minimal distortion up to 75% volume. There is a lot of information coming out of the speakers. Going to strike it one point. A high end stereo receiver should have an HD Radio tuner. The knobs are plastic.

great reviews here but look for other reviews. i thought i did my homework and bought this pioneer sx-n30 to replace my old school pioneer vsx-404, which i guess had that party sound because of the additional hook-ups. just wanted 2 channel not multi channel. can not use it with the graphic equalizer or my bose speakers (901). no tape monitor jacks. not the sound i'm used to. so i search further. have not decided to keep it yet. the yamaha rs700 looks good but is already over six years old. i do like the up-to-date bluetooth connects and all but i want that old school connection.

Never thought I could be happy with mid priced product......but tried $10000 amp, sent it back and bought the pioneer. It is as close as one can get to true vintage stereo/receiver quality.
The connectivity and ease of use is very welcome to someone with limited tech. knowledge.
I am not just happy, I am thrilled with this piece of equipment. I hooked into a pair of pinnacle floor speakers, sat back and enjoyed the warmth, depth and clarity this combination put out.

I have owned several pioneer elite AV receivers and thought this would be great for my kitchen. Originally it worked for a day or two and then it would suddenly drop off of my network, in stand by mode and while playing music either over the AirPlay feature or directly through the receiver using Pandora. I would have to do the factory reset and go through and set it up again. A week later the display went out, and yes I checked the dimmer button several times, and even tried unplugging it from the outlet for a minute to no avail, I was hoping for a firmware update but nothing is on their website for one. For 600 bones I shouldn't be having these kinds of issues. Not a good sign for pioneer AV department since they got bought out by Onkyo. So back to the store for a refund and a new brand. Good effort on idea but not so good on execution!
