Replacement/upgrade

We had the TV on the wall for seven months and my son had been complaining about the TV for two of the seven months. The TV was shot and had to be replaced for $20 more than I paid for the first 43 inch fire TV. We were able to get this pioneer 50 inch. I have been a fan of the pioneer TVs for a minute. I have a pioneer Zummo TV in my kitchen and the picture quality is beautiful. The Roku pioneer TV seems slightly quicker than the Zummo but the picture is the same. Beautiful crisp colors. My son uses it mostly for gaming of course. The sound seems to be OK. There were reviews that the TV wasn’t as loud as they would have wanted. I can’t complain about the sound, but I will say that my son watches his TV with a sound bar. If you have the chance to buy this TV and you catch it on sale you can’t go wrong!

The view from an angled seating position is excellent so it works well in a room with angled seating arrangements. The sound from the built-in speakers is sharp and I have notice no indications of speaker crackle or tinniness.

Great Pioneer Product for the Price!

The sound is good enough for entertainment. The screen quality is really good as well. I would highly recommend this brand to anyone on a budget.

Good tv for the price

Only 2 complaint the speakers aren’t that great. With my old tv I could have it at 25 and it was loud enough. I have to turn it up to almost 60. Also the closed caption keeps stopping randomly while watching shows. I watch tv on Plutotv a lot and it will play and then stop I have to cut the tv off and turn it back on for it to work.

Works great for a bedroom tv

The only con would be is that I cannot set the brightness darker than the allowed settings, unlike a normal tv where one can choose light/dark 0-100. Other than that, it works as I need it to.

Amazing TV

I haven’t heard the name Pioneer in electronics since their amazing car stereos but seeing them back in the game I was excited to give it a try. I’m extremely happy that I did. Works like a charm

Main purpose was for Smart functions and it does that very well. Not using it for tuner functions at the moment. I give it about 10 seconds before starting to stream to make sure it has a solid connection with the wireless outer

Good Value!

The Roku OS is easy to navigate and the picture is sharp with sufficient contrast. I did have to play with the picture controls and sound controls to get the best results. For me it's a good value for a budget 50" TV

solid tv for the price

My only issue is that the legs were difficult to put on and don't seem very stable. The sound is also not the best I've ever heard. We just attached a soundbar and adjusted the settings. Now it's working well. Overall, a great value.
