After reading reviews and finding a great deal at Best Buy I Bought these pioneer 6 1/2s to replace the blown factory speakers in my 2002 sequoia. I have only had them about a week but the sound quality was such an improvement that I bought a second set for the rear. The only negative I read was their not great for low end bass but I'm not looking for pro audio here just good quality and sound these pioneers offer both. Do yourself, and your wallet a favor and get a set today! Only reason it's not five star is I feel a week is too soon to tell if they are five star worthy

Bought these speakers and returned them two days later they sounded terrible.

speaker blew in less than 5 months and i dont listen to loud music just country music or christian music

like i said great sound really great lows and highs on a 4 channel boss ch4300 1/4 gain because i'm a house i had them on a 1hz to 35 hz test worked nice. tested full power to loud for house lmao but nice can't turn my pc up passed 4 lmao that loud amps 300 each channel max i love pioneer had alot of great stuff from them

I recently put these pioneer speakers in the doors of my 18 year old vehicle. The previous ones were blown and making weird noise. After I swapped these speakers in I noticed an instant change in quality. These speakers offer crisp, clear sound and moderate bass. Great for the price!

These are great speakers for your truck. The sound quality is great.

Very pleased. Replaced factory back door speakers in 2007 Silverado Classic. I don't know if the factory were old or just factory but they sound great and for $38 they didn't have to sound this GOOD. I wanted good bass and they deliver very well. No one will here me coming down the street but they are only billed a factory upgrade and they definitely fit that bill.

Bought these speakers the other day. Installed them already having low expectations. The quality that I got from these junky, joke of speaker set was far below my expectation. At low level they sounded no better than the 16 year old speakers that were already in my car. Turning the bass up a little and the volume up to 5 made them crunchy sounding. Turning bass up to 4 and volume to 7 made music indistinguishable from the sound of a car crash. Would not recommend these to anyone looking to listen to music louder than talking level. What a joke.

We purchased these for our shuttle bus for our business. They work really well, easy to install and fit into the existing space perfectly. Definitely recommend them.

These are not good for people who are wanting bass. Even though the specs say they can reach as low as 26 hz, that means nothing with these speakers. I can barely hear any bass even with a Boom Mat speaker baffle because they are too small to handle such intensity without insane amounts of distortion. I will be definitely returning these for their beyond poor performance. Worse than my stock paper GM speakers for my Duramax.

Decent speaker for price. Don't expect a lot a bass thump though.

Replaced the factory speakers in my 07.5 Silverado with these. Mid & high sounds good, but will not handle any kind of bass. Had to turn the bass almost all the way down to not get any distortion when turned up.

I was looking for cheap speakers, I guess they are just that. The mids and highs are ok but the base is horrible, not so much of a complete sound in my opinin. I returned them and bought some $99 Kickers. Was really disappointed as have had success with pioneer in the past.

Bought these just to replace the door speakers in a 08 Silverado non Bose system. The factory speakers still sounded ok but would cut out intermittently (common problem with these trucks). These speakers sounded terrible right off the bat and even the 8 year old occasionally working factory speakers sounded way better! the tweeters are very tinny and the mid and bass response is narrow and hollow and they distort like crazy with any volume, Even after upgrading to an aftermarket head unit to throw a little cleaner power at them, which I wasn't wanting to do to start with, and they still sound like terrible.
