Had two of these installed in my 2013 Silverado LT Extended Cab by Best Buy’s installer in Midland, TX. An driving the subs with a Rockford Fosgate Punch 300 watt single channel amp. Second truck this amp has been installed in. Rear seat speakers are Infinity Reference 6002i 6.5” that I purchased in 2004 and never took out of the box. For the front speakers the installer recommended JBL GX 600C component speakers with included crossovers. (6 speaker system but not Bose) and I took his advise. Kept the factory head unit which was already Bluetooth and Satellite equipped. Drive the front and rear door speakers and pillar tweeters with an Alpine MRP-F240 amp, This is the 4th truck the Alpine amp has lived in. The installer (Gabriel) did an outstanding job with the installation and set up. Truck came with a dealer installed under back seat storage unit which I modified to make room for the amps and subs. Was marginally impressed with the sound initially but remember that the 40 hour break-in period is alive and well. Have just passed the 80 hour mark since the install and I am astounded by the sound quality produced by this installation. Infinity and JBL are both manufactured by Harmon Kardon and married up beautifully. Used but quality amps and all new speakers. Now, about the Pioneer subwoofers...as they broke in I could tell that they were going to be perfect for my taste which is a mix of every genre out there. With the volume at about 50% and with the bass set at about 30% this set up really KICKS and is exactly what I was hoping for. The subs perform flawlessly. The sound is awesome. And they accurately reproduce the intent of the Musical Artists IMO. And able to get LOUD. While traveling alone I love my sounds crisp, clean and Loud! Don’t believe that just one sub would have gotten the job done but two of them driven by the RF Punch does it for me. I travel long distances frequently and alone and will enjoy this set up for as long as I keep this truck. When I get another truck this equipment will be moved into it first thing. Could not be happier with the system. A+ all around.

Fits perfect underneath the back seat of my 2017 Wrangler. Dont expect thumping bass. This is completes the missing bass that is hard to get in a Jeep.

Adds just enough bass to balance door speakers, definitely not going to be beating down the block with this though

This subwoofer was purchased for a tight fit application, i was a little skeptical with how much power this little 8" sub could deliver. After hooking this up with an Alpine MRV M500 AMP it's clear that this little sub packs the punch. It's very good for a small compact car i would say the size of a Ford Focus RS, Honda Civic, Toyota Camry. Anything larger you might want to step up to a 10" or larger. Great sound for the size, this little unit packs a good punch.

Didn’t want an enormous subwoofer so I purchased this unit which gets the job done.

Sounds great in my suburban! Perfect amount of bass!
