Pioneer Elite Great Buy

I was looking for a quality amp that was reasonably priced. I'm very happy with the performance. I would recommend this unit to others looking for something similar.

The sound is superb. I run it with my Polk speakers giving me movie theatre sound. I highly recommend.

Good sound quality but defective after 2 months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this receiver at the beginning of June, after a month my speakers would pop and receiver would cause my TV to blink with a black screen. Plugged sources directly into my KS8000 and no problem. So Blu rays, PC and PS4 all would blink a black screen intermittently. Ended up returning for a Marantz. I really liked that Pioneer had Class D amps but since Onkyo bought them I don't trust Pioneer now.

Great product, good power

My ONLY complaint...when turning this unit it always switches the input selection and it needs to be changed. I have tried to change the default setup, but haven't corrected the issue just yet. I will continue to search. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with this unit.

I needed this not only for music but for my home theater movie entertainment. Paired with good quality speakers it has a very rich warm sound. Great for sourround sound set ups.
