I bought this looking for a high quality iPod dock. I just had the little iPod AM/FM Clock radio prior to this purchase. The Pioneer NAS3 Blows any other iPod dock on the market away! Except for the Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin air that is... I was really wanting to buy the B&W Zeppelin Air instead but had a hard time justifying spending $699 on an iPod dock. Although if you have the money I strongly recommend buying the B&W Zeppelin Air. It is absolutely fantastic. The biggest difference between the Pioneer NAS3 and the B&W Zeppelin Air has to be the Airplay feature. with the Pioneer you can play music wireless via Bluetooth with an adapter (sold separately) which is a nice feature but the adapter is about $45-$80 depending on who is selling it. Since its a discontinued product its hard to track down the adapter. Where the B&W Zeppelin Air works with Airplay with your iTouch, iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer. All you have to do is hook up the Zeppelin Air to your wireless network. The Zeppelin Air however has to be hard wired via Ethernet, no wireless option unless you run Ethernet over power. Which in my opinion is still more practical and runs better than Bluetooth. Aside from that The Pioneer NAS3 is absolutely amazing. I listen to all genres of music from Nat King Cole, The Fray, Sleeping Giant, Jesus Culture, For Today, Norah Jones & even Bing Crosby. All of it sounds amazing through the Pioneer NAS3 especially with you play it with lossless audio. The remote is big but functional. The over look of the Pioneer is very sleek and classy. Having the Subwoofer in it puts out powerful bass and truly fills my room. Not only that but it has a video output for you to connect to your TV and play your videos on your iPod or iPhone. Such a great product I can't recommend it enough! Buy it before its all gone!
