When purchasing our new receiver we needed to upgrade to a powered sub. This was great and very low cost.

great sound for the price, fairly east set up instructions, had to mess with settings a little to get the best sound .

I was a bit leary at first as so many other woofers are much more expensive. I am using this for a theater surround sound in my home. It puts out a lot of bass and the volume can be turned up pretty high. I like being able to easily control the level and volume of bass seperately from just the volume on my surround sound console. Worked out of the box better than I expected

This subwoofer is perfect for a medium-sized living room. Perfect amount of base and TVs and movies sound much better than the sub that came with my old home theater in a box. The instructional manual was a bit lacking, so I wasn't sure what all the dials should be set to, but a little googling and adjusting and listening and it now sounds great. Recommended.

It was good for the price...but I found myself wanting MORE bass...so I upgraded to a Klipsch.

Was looking to add a subwoofer to a sound bar for a bedroom TV. Wasn't really sure what I was looking for as far as product brand name, was directed to the pioneer by sales staff and took a chance. Wow is all I have to say, makes watching movies like being in the theater. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy again.

Unbelievable amount of bass! This sub is in a 30' x 30' room and I have it set at 50% volume and it provides more than enough bass for the area.

In the process of upgrading from a HTIB to a dedicated surround system. We had to replace the unpowered sub to a powered one (which I prefer anyway), and was offered a great deal on this sub since we were buying a dedicated AV amplifier. The sound from this sub is excellent without the excess rumble and vibration. Even my wife likes it!

did not do a lot of research on this product, but Pioneer makes quality products. Very satisfied with the subwoofer

The woofer we bought is perfect for what we wanted. No wires to mess with and the sound quality is out of this world perfect for what we wanted....It completed the sound system surround sound for 7 channel surround and it is like being in a movie theater jus awesome sound...didn't expect less from Pioneer they make a great product.

Bought to replace my 25 year system which was failing slowly. Did a fair amount of research and landed on this Pioneer system. Purchased and installed myself. Very pleased with the sound and performance overall. Many more options than my previous system, a little hard to get use to the many features, but once I got it set, I just hit play and enjoy the great sound.

This sub is a great quality for the value. I highly recommend it.

This is an awesome subwoofer, the sound quality is very good. I could wish it came with all the required cords but that doesn't seem to be the norm anymore. Recommended entry level piece of sound equipment.

we had an old one and decided to upgrade after 10 years. the other is now on the patio for outdoor parties.

Good product for the money. One disadvantage is that the speaker is on the bottom of the unit which in turns muffles the effect somewhat.
