I was extremely surprised when I try this out at a Best Buy store. Even brand-new out-of-the-box the base is rich and fills the room. I have it set to 50% because it is literally shaking the pictures on the wall.

The subwoofer fits in perfectly with my surround sound home theater. My son blew out the one I had before this, which was part of a system, and Best Buy naturally had a unit that would work with the existing set up. It is great!

I enjoy the sound of the bass, when I watch moveies play video games I feel like I'm at the theater.

For a small room is perfect but if you have a living room/movie room you should get something bigger, its good for what I need!!

I thought the price could be a little lower, but over all great product that produces lots of loud bass to annoy my wife.

i was able to connect my ipod and review the subs they had in stock and connected with some reference tunes i use.- the 10" subs were much better at high levels with more punch and lower HZs- the 8"s sounded cleaner at low levels- this sub sounded good, it had all i needed & it was on sale for $111. > i put it on its side so that its front firing-

Purchased this subwoofer for an existing home theater. It actually works very well.

I'm no audiophile, but I bought this woofer for half price to fill in a system for our rec room and have been very pleased so far. The room is a smaller space and this woofer does its job nicely. You can really feel the thuds and the deep bass in music and movies. I would highly recommend this brand and product.

I needed a subwoofer to provide that full-bodied bass that my floor standing Polk Audio speakers just didn't quite have. I've got a rather large living room with wood floor and cathedral ceiling and this 8-inch sub fills the room nicely. Very happy with my purchase.

I'm no audio expert but for someone on a budget looking to make a decent 7.1 or 7.2 system this sub fits the bill. No complaints whatsoever. I have three of them I liked it so much. I am running one on a Yamaha V-379 receiver in 5.1 with Pioneer bookshelves and center and the other two subs on a V-679 in 7.2.

This is by far a superb sub woofer at an extremely reasonable price. The sound hits your body when watching movies and listening to music and you can tweak it just enough for whatever you're preferences may be.

Sub woofer sounds great with easy to set up instructions

I bought this speaker as part of a Pioneer 5.1 home theater system, after reading a favorable review in Home Theater. Sounds plenty good. This is my second set; when selling our previous home, the prospective buyer made the last set a condition of the home sale!

I just threw away a speaker that's more than 10 year old because the sound was getting crazier. I replaced it with a pioneer which is smaller and the sound is far better. I think pioneer is still one of the best brand around and their prices are not bad at all.

Terrific performance for it's size. This replaced an Atlantic Research subwoofer that I had for 14 years. The only con I have for it is the bright blue LED on the front panel that shows there is input to the subwoofer. This LED is way too bright for low light level watching. That's why the 4 stars instead of 5.

I have no complaints about this subwoofer. I was on a budget, and could not afford to spend a lot of cash. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of hook up, and the "walls started shaking" when i cranked her up. Nuff said...

When properly balanced it produces good low frequency response. Controls are difficult to balance with output power from amplifier. I would prefer this operation to be automatic like my other subwoofers. It would be preferable to have the pressure relief hole on the bottom where the speaker is to avoid small children from wanting to stick things in there.

Very happy with this sub woofer. All the reviews I read are spot on.
