Great sound, deep bass,better than my 12 inch sony subwoofer

Price not considered this is a great little sub. For the price, it's a well kept secret. It's got some nice features and sounds really good. I added it to my near field monitor set-up and it works great. The "ears" have it!

Bought this to accentuate some satellite speakers that came with a passive sub. Currently using it in a large living room with a pair of Polk Audio R30 speakers until I get the other system set up to my satisfaction. It has decent sound, though obviously it is better for smaller rooms at normal volumes. With the R30s running as large speakers adding some extra push, the bass presence is much more noticeable for all programs and movies. Nice start to a system, as a hold over until I get something more suited to my large family room. For basic emphasis, it makes a nice improvement, but it won't punch you in the gut like a larger sub with more driven power, which is my ultimate goal. Nice accent to my son's Xbox and WiiU activities without taking up a huge amount of room.

I've purchased several subs before but this one has lasted by far the longest. And let me tell you I've put it through a lot. Highly recommend this product for the low price and good quality. However the higher you turn up the bass quality does tend to go down. I hear a rattling noise if I turn it up past half. But I don't recommend turning it past half because there is such a thing as too much bass. Overall good product.

Works perfect for my usage I bought this to complement my audioengine A2+ speakers for my computer setup. Excellent for the price could easily be used for a home theater set up and I would replace my sound bar sub with it if I could.

If you are looking to add some thump to your home theater or just for music only... This sub gives a nice additive punch making those book shelf speakers sound much better. It has adjustable knobs so you can balance the volume and frequency to your liking. Great Product for a Great Price.

I built a new home and installed a theater room. It is the highlight of the home. I initially did not buy a subwoofer until I saw this Pioneer model at an incredible price. It is perfect and works well with components from different manufacturers. Pioneer has always been great.

Good sound, nice bass adjustments. Very easy to set up. one rca plug, plug in power cord, and enjoy the thump!

This subwoofer puts out great sound and is real easy to set up.

I replaced a larger unit with this one and I have no regret. Given the price the performance is outstanding. Bass is clear and punchy and you don't have to crank up the volume to get "rumbling" sound if you are into it. Feature set is good, the unit feels solid and well made.

Friend gave us a sound system>> it was ok but not great. Once we added the sub woofer it has made a world of difference. The sound is rich and strong. The cabinet is nice good addition to sound system

Very good for the price. Fits in with my surround sound system and sounds great. Easy to set up and use. Its not to big as im in an apartment it does not take up a lot of space

Hard to believe you can get a quality, no exceptional, subwoofer for under $150, but it's true. I've bought two of these - one for my home office and another for work - and I'm considering buying a third for a small media room. Great sound. Great price.

I purchased the Pioneer SW-8MK2 subwoofer to replace my aging BOSE unit and the Pioneer 10" sub really surprised me with the sound quality and easy setup. I connected this to my new Sony receiver and they play really good together.

The sub. worked great. Home theater was improved tremendesly.Directions for how the base gets phased in to where the low sound comes from other speakers is beyond my imagination .Scary movies are fantastic and never want to watch them any other way .
