I have had great success with Pioneer products! I have usually not been disappointed, and this time is no exception! This speaker has a powerful sound that makes movies come to life! It also blends in perfectly with the look of my home decor!

I'm using the sub woofer with a Vizio soundbar. Before the sub woofer soundbar was very poor. Now with sub woofer soundbar is excellent.

Excellent response, clear and sharp bass, great speaker for the price. You'd have to spend substantially more for appreciable gains in Quality.

For a budget-conscious consumer, this sub is a great way to round out the low frequencies. It works particularly well when paired with the other Pioneer speakers in its series. A good sub should be able to fill in the low-end frequencies without attracting too much attention, and this guy makes a quality set of speakers sound full. This is due to its clarity and tasteful crossover ability. If your goal is to get the walls shaking during explosions and what not, it may be best to look elsewhere. Don't be mistaken, this sub sounds great and powerful with TV and movies, but its strengths are in creating a natural, balanced bottom end.

Bought this to add to a new receiver and speaker purchase for my home theater. Great sound and able to rattle the windows on the lower settings. Pleased I added this to the system.

I specially like the automatic switch that turns the speaker on, since it has it's own amp internally. Sweet sound...

Surprisingly good. wonderful deep rich bass that is fully adjustable. That's important to me because I listen to everything in surround sound. It explodes with sharp thunder whacks from my R & B and rap collection and also great with jazz. Low notes extend down to the high 30's and it is a fast sub whose notes can be well synchronized to the front and rear channels regardless of tempo. In a word, outstanding!!

I bought one of these and connected it to my main receiver in the house. It sounded great so I decided to get one for the bedroom system. Great sound at a great price.

has the value built in. modest price for big bass sound. was easy to hookup and is compatable with the use I wanted. so cool compact and good styling for the money

This is a great product for a very reasonable price. The sound was amazing and made a world of difference when added to the sound bar. Installation was super easy and nothing extra required.

This subwoofer is great for a small room in a house are in an apartment. It puts out a moderate amount of bass, very crisp. It has a high quality wooden box.

Awesome sub for the price. Great for music, but not as much for movies due to lower power output. Bass is fast and tight.

Well made sub. The best thing I can say about it is, when it turns on, & off it doesn't make a sound. No clicking or popping! Great sound in a small package!

Has enough power for small room and doesn't rock the windows. Easy to set up and calibrate. Relatively small and easily hidden.

Better than expected. Plays pretty low for an 8 incher and has plenty of power. The auto on and off is the best I ever had on a sub, even higher priced ones.

I bought this subwoffer to add to my system in my garage/workshop. I'm very happy with the sound quality for an 8". The price is also very reasonable for the quality and power you get in this compact package. I would definitely recommend it for a smaller sized system.

Got this subwoofer to pair with my new Pioneer receiver. Was extremely easy to set up and works flawlessly. It has an auto mode where it will power off if no signal is going to it which I find great.

I appreciate the importance of quality sound in a home theater system but I would not call myself an audiophile. I needed a powered subwoofer to integrate with the surround speakers that I hooked up with a new receiver. The subwoofer works great. Movies, TV and music sound wonderful, with deeper and richer bass than I expected for the price. My only disappointment, and it is a major one, is that it started to buzz after a few days. It does this whether on or off. I have to unplug it because it is extremely annoying otherwise. I searched reviews and it seems that other customers have had this problem as well. An Amazon customer spoke with Pioneer tech support and they indicated that this is a known issue. I guess the price is too good to be true.

I cannot believe the awesome performance I get out of this sub. In a 20'x20' room I had to turn it down because the bass at times seemed a bit much.

This is a great little sub from Pioneer that I chose to round out my all Pioneer sound system. I have it powered through a Pioneer Elite series receiver to keep the sound across the same platform. The response is great considering this unit was priced under its competition. Truthfully, I don't see a need for anything more than what this unit delivers on. If I had to buy it again, I would.
