researched and purchased piper after returning Samsung unit the set up was easy just returned from trip out of state and was able to receive push notifications and receive clear video with secure wi fi connection. The motion activated alarm and temp sensors work fine so far we have had unit for two months. Only downside is unit does not have night vision capabilities

Can't believe the great features on the camera for the price. They have extra add-ons for monitoring water in the basement, remote device to turn on lights. Love the device.

I bought the Piper about a month ago and I am very impressed. It was easy to set up and works well. I love the two way communication, especially when no-one will answer their phone at the house and I can just start yelling into the room, "someone answer a phone" :). I have attached a few Z-wave products to it and they work great and were easy to setup. If there was one thing that I were to say that this product lacks, it would be a keypad or fab system for easy arming and disarming. I don't use the siren, even though it is AWESOME and loud, because there isn't an easy way to disarm the system. Often we come home and our phones start going nuts with the notifications we setup to tell us that there is motion or noise in the house, then we get on the app and shut it off. For me, if there was a quick arm/disarm add on for this system, it would be hands down the best.

3 weeks ago I purchased my Piper for our cottage home to not only offer some peace of mind with the security features it has but it is also a great way to monitor the environment from a far. It measures exterior temps, interior temps, humidity, physical activity, noise levels and ambient light. Also has many different ways to configure the security setting in addition to turning lights on and off with the optional Zwave switches along with an ear piercing 105 db alarm that also has a "panic" button option . Live video feed is good quality, with the ability to "split screen" and pan in or out to focus on a couple specific areas if preferred. If all that isn't enough it has a speaker and a microphone built in to use to communicate between your phone and the Piper unit. My wish list would include night vision and a compatible water leak detector sensor to make this unit absolutely perfect for me. Needless to say my experience has been great with my Piper and plan on purchasing 2 more to use for my primary home.

This "camera" packs features way beyond the great wide angle camera view. Most notably the alerts (including temperature and connection outage) and history for temperatures, humidity, motion, and sound. You get all this and whatever else I didn't mention with no recurring fee and without adding any more devices or sensors, it's all in the one "camera" about the size of a big mobile phone! Setup was quick and easy, maybe 5 minutes and that included an update. I've got one installed in a second home now, showed the neighbors on my mobile phone and now their orders are on the way.

I bought Piper after seeing it online & I’ve gotta say it’s just as good as I was promised it would be. The picture and audio quality are both great, the temperature readings are always accurate +/- 1 (I already have a humidifier at home, and the two pretty much always agree on temp.), and set-up was very simple. All in all a great product I’m looking forward to using for a long, long time.
