I really did enjoy this movie, but it was just lacking something that the first one had. Still good though!

This movie was a terrible disappoitment. The story took way to long to develop, only to leave you with a bad ending. The only reason I would recommend this movie to you, is if you wish to see all three of the Pirates of the Carribean movies.

The movie is important you have to see it just to understand the 3rd movie but it isnt to bad. it still contains the awsome sword deuls and the crazy ship battles. A character nammed davy jones is intoduced and i think he is put on the spot a little to much. its ok just go out and rent it.

For all I care, they could have stopped making the 'Pirates of the Caribbean films' right here. Dismally disappointed with the first outing, I figured I'd give this sequel a try in hopes that it would far outdo its predecessor. Well, perhaps my expectations were aimed a little too high, but for whatever it's worth 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest,' allowed for another pleasant nap throughout most of the picture. However, unlike the first film, the footage I did see of this one was blatantly awful, so much in fact, that I didn't bother seeing the third film. Widescreen, ample bonus material on this 2-disc special edition.

The 2nd movie of the series has some good parts but it drags on and some of the story could have been left out.

This movie was funny but very confusing. I would not recommed it to children! To scary and innapropiate.

Sequels aren't always better than the original... Don't get me wrong, I love Pirates of the Carribean just as much as the rest of America, but seriously? This film is long, boring and just some middle piece to At World's End...this film was just another attempt to make money because it just built up to what the final film would truly deliver.

Pirates #2 is just an interum to the finale pirate movie. The plot was weak and there was little suspense in the movie. The only thing it had was great costumes and costume effects such as the captain and crew.

it was like watching a soap opera with monsters, a terrible plot, new boring characters, everything on the screen is blue and green, and everything takes place on boats.
